Smiley Nose Clip

Simple straightforward design and sturdy - It will take some heavy pinching to bend the wire to secure your nostrils aka nose holes. And then - IT HOLDS, before swim, during swim, sweaty nose/ greasy nose - it is solid as a rock. The string is CLEARLY for canoe/kayak nutters, but can be easily adopted to swim goggles if you want to avoid losing it. Obviously- it’s heavy duty - it’s got some size and weight to it for it to work as good as it does - this is not cheap flimsy plastics like the main swimming brands.

I’ve tried little plastic nose clips before but they don’t stay on well enough and kept floating off in the pool. I tried this because it was a different style AND comes with a tether, and I’m very pleased! I’ve been using it for a few months and would heartily recommend it. It hasn’t lost tensile strength at all yet, I can continue to adjust it as needed without feeling it’s losing grip. Reasonably comfortable (for something designed to clamp your nose), stops water entering completely as long as you give it a pinch now and then, and stays on excellently. I like that I can tether it to my goggles so I can take it off as needed without worrying about losing it. It hasn’t slipped off on its own even once yet. The envy of the other people in my swimming lessons.

These are very good nose clips. I usually swim 3 - 4 miles a week, so they are used frequently. Provide a good strong grip to prevent water affecting the sinus. As I suffer from a very bad sinus reaction to the pool without these, I can tell immediately when they are not working. Typically, lifetime is approximately 6 months, before the metal begins to lose its tensile strength and grip around the nose. Compared to many other brands purchased over the years, these are the best. Just wish they lasted longer

Having bought three pairs, tried numerous other nose clips at our kayaking club and borrowed others, I can confidently say these are the best I’ve ever tried. You’d think a nose clip is a nose clip? Nope. Not when you’re violently capsizing in a boat! These stay firmly in position on your nose, they don’t slip, slide, come off or make marks on your nose because they’re so tight. They are comfortable and also look good. They may seem a little pricey, but they don’t break and will last (I’ve never seen a broken one) they are worth the extra, if you buy cheap ones, you’ll end up buying again and again. 10/10 from us, the whole family have a pair each and the string is durable, perfect to attach to your helmet.

I am writing this review after using these nose clips for more than 6 months and I swim once a week. Like a lot of reviewers of this product, I started searching for nose clips after developing uncontrollable sneezing after a swim. When the sneezing first started it lasted about 12 hours but within a year it was lasting two days or more. Before trying these nose clips, I tried a Speedo one and it did not stay on my nose at all. It took me a few swims to get used to the clips and to learn how to swim breathing in and out of my mouth only. The sneezing stopped immediately. They are generally quite comfortable for about 30-40 minutes and after that I start becoming aware of them but that is getting better too. I attach the string to the strap of my goggles but the clips have never come off while I was swimming. The idea is very simple and the end result is magnificent. Recommended highly. Having used the clip for over a year, my recommendation is to dry your nose with a towel after the shower but before starting to swim. This gets rid of the skin grease and helps a lot with the slipping issue that some reviewers mention.

I really like the fact that this nose clip can be attached to the strap on my goggles. I have lost nose clips before! Some other reviews have mentioned a concern that the metal of the clip may be too weak, but I haven't found that to be the case so far. It doesn't have to be moved much to provide a firm grip, and it doesn't feel like it could break easily. Although these are not the cheapest clips, I don't think they are too expensive either. Good quality and good value.

Having spent a small fortune on the plastic silicone slip on/slip off type and being disappointed with all of them I decided to try this more expensive option. I am glad I did, I only use them for pool swimming so cut off the clip string thing. I can honestly say they haven’t slipped off once and are very comfortable to wear. Easily adjustable to fit, just squeeze them to fit. Easy to take off, just gently open them slightly and remove. Recommend if you have issues with the cheaper plastic ones.

This is a great nose clip can be unadjusted to suit size of nose. Problem is others slipped of. Very comfortable and convenient during long swims. Tie round middle of goggles and tuck securely in side straps of goggles when not used, like front crawl. I have lost countless nose clips between strokes when 4-5 people in lane. No chance of losing it between swim strokes, Is subject to chlorine damage, but overall great...I am repeat buyer, on my third. However, swim 5 x week, so lots of chlorine exposure.

Buona tenuta in acqua, comoda asola da far passare nella fettuccia del casco, rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente. Preferirei un 5 cm in più al cordino.
