My daughter asked me to order this for her flat mate and while at lunch today I asked him what he thought. He'd never replaced a skin before but found it easy in fact more time was spent taking the old one off than fitting the new one. It's stayed tuned nicely and not slipped through two gigs and two open mic nights. It's very reactive with crisp sound. Amazing quality and sound for the price.

Remo heads….. nothing but quality as always. Been a working drummer for around 25years and Remo are my go to heads. Lovely tone, easy enough to tune and project well for my needs. They are Classic for a reason. Beginner or seasoned pro you can’t go wrong. 😊👍

No fuss, no drama, just a great skin that does what it says on the tin, if there was a tin... Easy to fit, great quality rim as well as skin. Tunes well. Good price on here too. Very pleased. A happy drummer is a better drummer.

I'm using this on the bottom of a very resonant brass snare along with a black dot snare top and it has been incredibly easy to tune a difficult drum. This head has been very versatile; I've used it in folk to metal in live settings and I've been able to get the sound I needed by simply adjusting the snares on the fly.

Remo are simply the nicest heads. After 31 years of drumming, I can honestly say I always return to Remo for the best results, despite often trying other brands out of curiosity. Nothing beats Remo though, in my opinion.

I like these drum heads for their durability in a marching band setting.....Kids can be rough on an instrument. I've seen some reviews say their snare sounded better with this head....To me? ....This head allows marching snares to be loud and not echo as much....the sound is crisp and not hollow....It will give you the "cha-cha-cha" sound....be sure to tune your drum to a D and make sure your snare wires are touching the bottom head and you will get the sound you're looking for. Most drummers don't know how to tune their snare drum.....go to youtube to learn how. This head is excellent on a marching snare- FFX Pearl. It lasts forever!!!! It's built great! It can take a licking and keep on ticking!! For the price- you can't beat the quality and durability of a Remo. They are worth every last penny you spend!!!!!
