Yu-Gi-Oh! King of Games Yugis Legendary Decks Holiday Box Set (Gold)

Oh, where do I even start with this. to say I was impressed is an understatement. the whole thing is just beautiful frankly. from the box to the cards this just doesn't disappoint. the cards are lovingly presented, The Yugioh token cards and rare cards are gorgeous, the cards and art work spot on. Basically i love the whole package. I was really impressed with the box to. the design is beautiful, a lovely homage to the Manga's Egyptian root's. I was a massive fan of the anime, which was how I can to the series. I didn't realise it was based on a manga until later. but the show got me into the card game and 20 years on I still have my first edition, first ever deck born from the first starter decks and card's. and as always The Dark Magician was my favourite card, always was, always will be. This King of Games legendary deck's set brings together all the best card's from the 3 main arc's of the show, from duelist kingdom to battle city and more. The game has changed so much over the years that allot of the old cards are becoming more and more redundant (or just out right banned or limited for official tournaments) as the game evolves and moves on but I've always duelled old school and I've found that the best cards aren't always the newest. These decks are a great trip down memory lane AND if you duel to the rules but not the registrations (i.e. in Official tournaments) then these decks can still pack a punch. All in all well worth the asking price :)

A good nostalgic item featuring 3 decks from the main character of the original Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters. This deck is mainly more of a collector item than something you would buy if you wanted to play competitively. The decks are from the different arcs such as Duellist Kingdom, and Battle City and the Finale duel. Like in the Anime they are a complete mess of a deck and such playing with them outside casual play is not advised. You can make something good if you are starting out however another structure deck is advised. The items contain 3 40 card decks plus some extra deck pieces and 10 bonus cards 3 of which are playable and the rest are not. 4 of these are tokens representing the cards given to Yugi going to Duelist Kingdom, there is one Dark Magician card which was used by Arkana in the show during the Battle City arc and makes its way to the English game finally. the other 3 are god cards featured in the anime. Each deck comes sealed in a plastic wrap and is in a plastic holder which sits tight in the box, the decks are depressed enough to not launch cards everywhere and under the plastic casing is enough room for some game mats and some storage for cards. It is my understanding that similar ideas were being considered for the other characters of the show however nothing is decided yet.

What a great set of decks. Myself being a long fan of Yu-Gi-Oh i love all of the nostalgic cards from the TV series. this set is not particularly cheap. but for the money you get a lot of nostalgic value and some cards never seen before such as the evil 'Arkana dark magician'. the three decks is a great idea as for casual playing you can try each one against each other with a friend. Maybe it would have been nice for a rubber mat with the millennium puzzle but maybe thats a lot to ask for at this price. the box is excellent quality and something to keep them in rather than a bit of packaging they come in and compared to some decks you get quite a few cards for the price even with some useful staples for more competitive players such as mirror force. fans of the show will love this set and will remember when each deck was used by Yugi in the show. A great product i really hope they do more for other characters (kaiba please). Well pleased worth the money!

For all fans of the original Yu-Gi-Oh anime and collectors in general: This is the set to get. When I was 8 years old I loved Yugioh and had a number of cards that were unfortunately thrown away, as I was growing up and tidying my room. For a few years now, I've been looking to buy some of my more favourite cards again but couldn't find brand new decks or collections of my favourite cards that weren't really expensive. There are a number of collections out there, e.g. Joey's World, Legendary Collection 3, Gold premium etc which do provide you with a lot of rare cards. The only problem with those is you're only guaranteed 10 specific cards, such as the Blue Flame Swordsman and The Seal of Orichalcos, as well as 4 or 5 token cards, which are a nice addition but are hardly the deciding factor for you to spend your money. If you really desire one or two specific cards; you're relying on good pack luck with those sets (hopefully the heart of the cards will come through for you if you buy those) . Although the majority of the above cards are either banned or no longer suitable for tournament play (apparently Xyz Monsters rule the roost now, whatever they are) , this collection is a must for any Yugioh fan, whether that would be for nostalgic or collection purposes (there's nothing to stop you summoning The Winged Dragon of Ra in a duel against family or friends) . A complete set of Exodia (Ultra rare) on Ebay currently costs upwards of £10, so to get Exodia in this collection with 130 other cards for just over £20, as of 08/03/16, is fantastic value for money. If you resold these cards individually, or kept them sealed and sell them a few years from now, you'll be making a tidy profit. There are some duplicates in here; for example there are 3 Kuribohs' in this collection along with some others, but I'm glad they did this. While Yugi's deck alters throughout out the show, there are a core set of cards that remain constant within his deck throughout the programme: Dark Magician, Mirrior Force, Dark Magician Girl, Kuriboh, while others disappear after a while: Summoned Skull, Beaver Warrior, Feral Imp, Winged Guardian. I hope the sales of this product push Konami to release Kaiba and Joey Legendary decks in the future. The prospect of first edition Blue Eyes White Dragon and Red Eyes makes me so happy. Each duelists' decks also alters throughout the seasons of the show, so they could quite easily put together three of their decks into special collections. Thanks for reading, have a good day.

Bien cuidado el producto, sin daños en la caja mas que un dobles, las tarjetas están en excelentes condiciones y son decks de colección muy buenos. Completamente sellado y con etiqueta nueva, los mazos igual con sello. No sirve para venta individual o para hacerse alguna ganancia por el costo individual de las cartas. Dado que es una edición nueva de colección, sus tarjetas valen poco, pero son excelentes para tener los mazos de Yugi completos, mago y maga oscura vienen como comunes.

If you are a fan of the show or have a friend or family member who is, this product is a dream gift come true. It has possibly the best value out of all the legendary decks release so far. It has all his most famous card from all the seasons of the show right up to the finale. If you don't know who the character these cards are based around is. He is basically the superman/hero of the show. For a fan of the show there is not need to say any more. This set contains the full set of Exodia in ultra rare! That makes this set alone worth it right there. You could sell those 5 cards for more than the base price of the whole box! If that's not a seller right there for some people, I don't know what is. It comes with 3 starter decks themed around Yugi Muto's cards though the original series. The decks have some really powerful cards that can be used in any modern Yu-Gi-Oh! deck. The nostalgia Is strong with this one. Also these decks are a great place to start for those of you who wish to start playing or return to playing. All in all it's a great price, with great quality cards and I'm in love with Yu-Gi-Oh! all over again. Highly recommended. Five stars for a quality product that is sure to please both fans, friends and family. If you are interested in Yu-Gi-Oh!, Buy this one. You won't be disappointed. It's time to duel!

En réalité, je savais un peu où je mettais les pieds, je connaissais le jeu avant d'acheter ces cartes ci, Et c'était déjà un jeu / manga que j'appréciais à l'époque. Ce coffret pour en revenir au produit est vraiment bien fourni, les cartes y sont de grandes qualité, et c'est même surprenant d'avoir ce niveau de rareté à ce prix! Et il y a la quantité: 3 Deck jouables de bon niveaux et ajouter à cela quelques cartes ultra limitées! En somme, je suis vraiment très content de mon acquisition, et encore plus heureux de pouvoir me replonger après tant d'années dans un univers que j'affectionne particulièrement :D Chaudement recommandé aux collectionneurs et autres fans de première heure!
