These are good quality brushes for the amateur artist. The shorter handle makes them easy to use, they are medium soft, hold paint well, shed very little and are easy to clean. I use them for acrylics and I’m pleased with the results. Good to have a transport/storage case too.

Better than expected! And at this price ! I always prefer Daler & Rowney bcz I know they will provide quality within budget. Did shed a couple hair but working fine now. Come in a ziplock bag that you can use on your plein air trips . These are short handled synthetic oil paint brushes. I bought them for plein air but I think I will use them in studio as well.

Very pleased with these brushes, look very nice with a great selection of brushes for different techniques. They come in a very handy zip up case to keep them together and safe. For the price I payed too turns out a real bargain. I'm just an amateur painter so for me these are perfect and just what I needed. They do seem good quality and look the part too. Would recommend.

Daler Rowney are a name I'm long familiar with, having used their artist's brushes for donkey's years. Their brushes never seem to cause me any problems, although obviously you need to care for them well just like any other fine instrument. We've not received a single Daler Rowney brush that has had a quality problem, and these were no exception. The synthetic bristles are tight and stay so over the course of time, and the ferrules are never loose or otherwise problematic in my experience. We're fairly gentle with the ones we use, and we're quick to clean them. We have favourite brushes in the studio space all the time and were keen to have a decent set of brushes to cart around with us when we are out and about, but which can be set aside for trips, just to make life a little easier (it can be harder to clean brushes when you're "on the road" sometimes, and we feel happier knowing that we are covered. A packaged set such as these is great, and also really handy when painting with friends at local painters' gatherings, since they will pack into a field easel or even a desktop easel without too much hassle (and you can always slip a few other brushes in there if necessary. It's hard to find fault with them, they balance nicely in the fingers and, although my wife gets on with them better than I do (my hands would prefer a very slightly larger diameter to the grip on some of the finer brushes), I wouldn't change them for the world.

Most of the paintbrushes were okay but there was one that broke and I’d only used it once. All the bristles came out!

Lovely brushes that come with a lovely compact zip up case. The brushes are short handled which gives good control for acrylic work and these brushes work very well with acrylic and watercolour paints. I've not tried them with oil or gouache but I have long handled brushes for oil paints so unlikely I will, so cannot comment on how well they do with those. They are marketed as acrylic brushes a d you get a good range of size and type of brush in the set. I didn't give full five stars because I had a duplicate brush (angled) and no fan brush, which is shown on the front of the packaging and on the item online, but aside from that, these brushes are well worth the money and are a good starter and intermediate set for those on a budget. No hair loss and clean up really well.

Sono ottimi sia per acrilici e colori ad olio. Io le uso quasi tutti i giorni e nessuno ancora si è rovinato. Ovviamente devono essere puliti con delicatezza dopo ogni utilizzo con il sapone.

Presi da usare con gli acquerelli, purtroppo sono una principiante e quindi non sono ancora in grado di esprimermi sulla qualità di questi pennelli, posso solo dire che io mi trovo bene.
