cores not quite as soft as Prismacolor but still excellent vivid color
I received these pencils yesterday, when I picked them up in my apartment's Amazon hub, and immediately drew a picture of the kingfisher from the front cover of the pencil box. First off, there is not much packaging so the pencils are kind of loosely setting in a scalloped tray, two of them in the box. Second, the box is flimsy. But the pencils are fantastic, and have great color and great variations of color, nothing repeated. The cores of the pencils are not as soft as Prismacolors, but the choices you get are amazing. For example there are like 6 different yellows! instead of the usual one lemon yellow and maybe a canary yellow. My favorite color is yellow and they don't disappoint. There are many blues, plenty of greens, less grays which is good and one black, one white which is a blender. Many reds and oranges too. For $8, what a value! 72 pencils for $8! I was so excited to get these. Going back to the pencil core issue, these pencils are a bit harder than Prismacolor, but did I mention my Prismacolor leads break all the time? These leads are strong and ready for some work. You don't have to press harder, just go back over the color to create more vividness. My kingfisher turned out ok and I look forward to my next drawing. If you like dry media, or want to add colored pencils to your mixed media, try these.

Love love love this!!
Ive been really enjoying these coloured pencils! I recently decided to get back into adult colouring books for stress relief and was looking for pencils that were good quality but wouldn’t break the bank. The pigment is a good quality for the price point and I really liked that it came with a swatch paper so you can know what color each pencil will produce. I haven’t had any problems with the pencils snapping, they’re very easy to sharpen. 10/10 would recommend for someone who wants a pencil that’s higher quality than crayola but doesn’t want to jump into prismacolors.

Inexpensive Pencils for Everyday Use
I recently picked up these coloring pencils, and I’m seriously impressed! They’re budget-friendly, but the quality is top-notch. The colored leads are super soft, making blending a breeze, yet they’re durable enough to handle sharpening without breaking. Plus, the pencils are a great size, so they’ll last through countless projects. The color selection is fantastic with tons of vibrant shades to inspire creativity. For kids, this set is perfect. The wide variety of colors will keep them entertained for hours, and at such an affordable price, you don’t have to worry about the cost. They’re sturdy enough to handle enthusiastic little artists without snapping easily.I can honestly say these pencils hold their own. They’re smooth, blend beautifully, and lay down color evenly, making them ideal for both beginners and experienced artists. What I really love is that they’re high quality without the hefty price tag. Perfect for kids, beginners, and even experienced artists who want to create freely without worrying about using up expensive materials. Highly recommend giving them a try!

Vibrant and Smooth Coloring Pencils, But Chaos in the Box
I’ve been really enjoying this 72-pack of soft color pencils. The color payoff is surprisingly rich and vibrant, and so far, the coloring experience has been smooth and satisfying. They glide across the paper nicely, making them great for blending and layering. The variety of shades is excellent, offering plenty of options for detailed work or broad creative projects. Whether you're coloring intricate designs or just doodling for relaxation, these pencils get the job done beautifully. That said, I do have one personal gripe. They weren’t sorted by color when I opened the box. It might not be a big deal to some, but as someone who likes things organized, it felt almost criminal to dig through a random mix to find the shade I wanted.

Amazing Quality for the Price
I recently purchased this set of 72 colored pencils and I am incredibly impressed, especially for the price range. The quality is truly amazing for what you pay. You get a fantastic range of 72 colors, which offers great variety for different projects.I've already sharpened several of the pencils, and the tips haven't broken at all, which is a common issue with some colored pencils. This set feels durable and reliable. If you're looking for a high-quality alternative to more expensive brands like Prismacolor but don't want to spend a fortune, these are an excellent choice. They perform really well and are a great value for the money.Highly recommend, they blend quite smoothly, the colors are vibrant and lay down nicely and, they work really well for illustrating and adding bright colors to drawings.

Perfect for Beginners
Recently I received a free mandala coloring book and a starter pack of 12 colored pencils. It quickly became apparent I wanted to use a lot more colors so I was in search of a set that covered a wider range across the spectrum. This set of 72 has enough variation in colors that it suits my needs perfectly. Ideal set for anyone just starting out and at an affordable price too.

Kalour pencils.
The pencils are good quality and I like that the color name is on the pencil .The packaging however is not so good. The pencils trays are so flimsy that you drop many of the pencils while trying to remove the trays from the box.Overall, satisfied with quality of pencils but very disappointed with packing of pencils.
