Hilka 82200120 2t Bottle Jack in Carrying Case

Sturdy well made item-lifted my Volvo V70 D5 2.4cc with ease. Bought initially for tyre change on my touring caravan-offered it up today but as the chassis is higher constructed a few wooden wedges to account for height and in case of softer ground.

Received the bottle jack only to realise it was not compatible with the jacking points on my car. However, the item was a sturdy and good quality product. Importantly the 'goods return' option was hassle free and efficient. If I purchase a different car, I would have no hesitation on reordering the product from this company.

A good little bottle jack and conveniently stored in its own case.Good value.

I specifically chose this brand as I own a socket set made by the same company and have always been impressed by the quality of it. I'm afraid the only plus point i can find is the carrying case, because it is generally poor quality. The casting, the paint job are pretty low quality and the operating handle is a joke. Just to add insult to injury I've just been told that it is in the Screwfix catalogue at £2 cheaper.

Pleased with this. I had an annoying leak under my car, and the scissor jack that came with it is ok at a pinch, but but great to use. Don't be fooled by the small size of this thing, it got to work minutes after being delivered, and make quick and easy work of jacking the car up.Things to be aware of though - it is quite tall, so you may need to check if you can get it under your car. I would also have preferred a little more daylight under the wheel when I removed it, but that's perhaps me being churlish. Also - make sure that your car isn't heavier than the limit of two tons. The identification label (possibly, stuck to the frame of the front doors, sides vary) may tell you how heavy the car is. If not, the owners manual will, or there's always Haynes.

This seems to a a nice little jack, I have not used it as yet, but its pretty small and easy to store. Great speedy delivery as usual from Amazon as well. All round a great purchase. A*

Good seize, small enough to get under vehicle, powerful enough to lift vehicle for tyre change. Easy to store.

Even though I found basically the same thing in Screwfix for a few quid less, I’m not unhappy with this jack. This was because I actually had to use it the exact thing I was fearful might happen. When we go camping we have a trailer and if you get a puncture there would be no way of changing the wheel. Luckily because I bought this and only about 10 miles into our journey I was able to change the wheel after we had a blowout along the M4. Great purchase that saved me a lot of hassle.
