Gedeo 750 ml Crystal Resin, Transparent

Was purchased new and the items that arrived were clearly second-hand. The box was open and damaged with a vain attempt to reseal it using sellotape; the hardener was unsealed and some of its contents had leaked out, or possibly due to previous use. Despite this, the container does appear to still be reasonably full.

This resin is fantastic for 2 main reasons.1) It is almost completely odourless so I can mix in one room and the other half can't smell it. I normally leave my moulds to cure in the kitchen (warmest place in our house) and you just wouldn't know it was there doing it's thing.2) It really does dry crystal clear. If it's drying a little cloudy, it's not been mixed correctly, simple as. As long as you get as close to a 2:1 mix as possible, stir gently for 2 mins until what's in your pot is clear, you won't go far wrong. I've only had one bad experiencing with a cloudy finish and that was primarily down to me deciding to mix up some resin whilst under the influence of wine.... expensive lesson to learn!Pot time is about 15 mins and it cures completely in 48 hours. If anything, I would like to buy this in larger quantities as I use it quite a lot.

I’ve seen a few reviews here saying the final results are sticky or have bubbles etc. I have experienced all of these issues, but only when I don’t get the measurements right. I make jewellery so only need 15-30ml resin at a time and I find it so much easier to use a pipette for the hardener.When you get it right, and allow 2-3 days to fully dry (it says 24 hours but it needs longer) it will dry crystal clear with no imperfections. I’ve bought other resin brands and always come back to this one. Not as environmentally friendly as i’d like but I’d have to spend at least double to do that.This is my fourth time buying this product. Fantastic stuff and great for beginners!

I used this with resin to make heels which I casted using the Gedeo siligum molding paste. Overall it's a great product, Easy to use and does what it's supposed to. However, I couldn't get the resin crystal clear as it says it should be. I should also state that the measurements of the resin and hardener has to be precise and the tools you use have to be clean or it won't set and harden as it should. But in the end, I got what I needed from it.

was a bit sceptical as its like a mini lab when you first open it, but after finding the instructions in english it was very simple 1 part mixture to 2 part mixture,stir and pour, so easy. I also bought some pigment glow and it works great together, now i have glow in the dark coasters. I put in fresh flowers in the mould with this mixture and it worked a treat. Not sure if my room is too warm as it took longer than the stated 24hrs to harden. would buy again, but not sure how many coaters i really need :P

Very easy to use, 2:1 ratio, just make sure to mix very thoroughly and let sit for 5-10 minutes before using (gets rid of bubbles)Has a very long pot life, I'd say up to an hour.Low odor, I work in the study and my boyfriend cant smell it in the same room.Self-leveling, have not had a problem with it not hardening yet, but it takes more than 24hrs, minimum 36, sometimes 48, but its worth it. Always check with a toothpick, not your finger. Can color it with regular acrylic paints.Comes out crystal clear from silicone moulds, doesnt need varnish or release. Easy release from plastic molds, just use a tiny amount of regular vaseline beforehand. Make sure not to make it streaky.Overall amazing resin, will be buying again.

This is really good resin. My biggest tip for using this is to ensure you follow the instructions to the letter. If you dont mix properly or with the wrong quantity the product will not fully harden
