Tefal Fasteo Steam Generator Iron, 2200 Watt, Blue, SV6040

As someone who never liked the tedious task of ironing clothes, I was in search of a solution that would make this chore a lot easier and quicker. My search ended when I purchased the Tefal Festeo Steam Generation Iron 2200 and used it for the first time. I can confidently say that this product has revolutionized the way I iron clothes and has made it a more enjoyable experience!The first thing that stood out to me was the size and design of the iron. It's compact, lightweight and has a long cord, which makes it easy to use and maneuver. The water tank is also detachable, which makes it easy to refill and clean.The Tefal Festeo Steam Generation Iron 2200 is exceptionally powerful, has a consistent steam flow, and with a wattage power of 2200, it heats up quickly, so there is no need to wait for too long before you start ironing. This is a wonderful product. It's the first steam generator iron I've had and I can't believe how easy it is to use. It really has transformed my ironing experience. I expected it to be effective at getting creases out but didn't expect it to be so quiet! There are no clouds of steam and noise as I iron. I don't need to re fill the water tank every 5 minutes as I did using my conventional iron. This is particularly useful as I wear a lot of linen. It really does glide across the ironing and remove the creases so easily.

It’s a good iron and does the job, it’s not bad for the price. The cord gets in the way as it goes straight up. It steams ok but not as good as my last iron but then it was half the price. Glides well and has good temperature control. I think for me I’d have spent extra money and got something bigger and better.But value for money is good. Does it’s job well. The good thing is definitely the water fill point is easy to use. In general a good iron I was just being tight, and should have spent more as I’m used to much more powerful steam iron. Definitely 4 star though worth the money.

I bought one of these 6 years ago, same make and model. I do lots of ironing each week and it never let me down until now.I did not hesitate to buy the exact same make and model again. Great iron and well worth the money. If I had to say what I didn’t like it would be the dark colour water tank, it’s difficult to see where the water level is, apart from that it’s perfect.

I was so looking forward to my new Steam Generator as my steam generator had given up the ghost really. I set up the iron, new, straight from the box. I had 10 linen shirts to iron, all was going well until the 5th shirt. The iron just started to spit out brown water (see photo, sorry it isn't that good). It was so quick I didn't have chance to get it away from my shirt in time (I was in the middle of ironing it) I immediately sponged the shirt but the brown stains remain - I have yet to machine wash it so am really hoping the stains come out. It is one of my favourite shirts!I am used to scale type water spitting out, from time to time, from a steam generator, it is a pain but always just brushes of from the clothing. I live in a hard water area and regularly descale / clean my irons, kettles etc.. It never ever leaves stains. This brown water that spits from this Tefal I have never experienced before. Because the iron was brand new I am left wondering whether it is rust from internally, a screw, or something.I am returning it of course!I had not checked the reviews before ordering - the reviews are even worse on the Tefal website, I would advise anyone not to buy this iron, even at a good price (I got a very good price, but it really isn't worth it)

Great design and easy to use, unfortunately in the short time I have used this iron, it has left trails of dark coloured residue on my laundry. Tried changing the filter to no avail. I have since returned for a refund. It’s a shame because it was light, easy to use and when it behaved it gave excellent results.

Tefal by far is the best out of other steam irons I bought. Definitely does what it says on box! It’s quick to heat up and steam is powerful within seconds. I’ve bought others recently and ended up returning two! Definitely would buy Tefal steam irons in future.

It is so light and much smaller then my other one so easier to get in the cupboard. Does exactly what it say light weigh great on creases. Love this iron
