Rolson 56159 4 pc Wood Chisel Set

Very good quality for the price, decent quality steel, very sharp with good grips. They should be ideal for the purpose they were bought for and were delivered quickly, efficiently and with a pleasant attitude not usually attributed to my local delivery drivers.

Really nice DIY chisel set. It's not as heavy duty as some...but they are very sharp and excellent price.

Usually whenever I get near anything even remotely sharp, it results in a bloodbath. However, we have a new wooden gate that required some "adjustment" in order to fit into the available aperture. Amazingly, with the aid of these excellent chisels, we now have a functioning gate and my blood supply is unhindered. The chisels appear to be durable and are indeed very (terrifyingly) sharp. I did find other chisels that are available and considerably more expensive, but for an occasional bit of DIY wood bashing, these seem perfectly adequate. I imagine that eventually they will need sharpening and that some carpenters are skilled in that art, but at 8 quid, I would probably just buy some new ones instead as I am too stupid to know how to sharpen them. Having said that: they endured a solid couple of hours of occasional wood bashing and still appear to be adequately sharp.

I don't use chisels all that often, very infrequently in fact, so I opted for this cheap option based on the numerous good reviews. I find with this brand, however, that you know you're at the budget end of the market and soon find that you're getting what you paid for. I used the small chisel on door frames - soft wood - and after about a dozen uses, the sharp end was already looking wavy and had lost its edge. It must be made of pretty soft steel. I suppose I should learn how to sharpen these to get good use out them but that's a skill in itself. Next time I'd opt for a dearer set.

Extremely good quality very sharp and extremely good made and I would definitely recommend anyone who is looking for a value object like this to purchase it of this seller as the products are extremely good quality and definitely worth value for money

Totally misplaced my set of quality chisels and ordered these up with just one job in mind which was making channels in joists for cables prior to putting down a bit of attic flooring. I think you can tell they’re not the very best quality but are still surprisingly better than I’d expected, remained good and sharp, were up to the job and let me make a neat job of it. I would definitely recommend them for anyone who just needs to have chisels on hand in their tool box for occasional use.

I was pleasantly surprised that the tool was very strong and it completed my task without any problems. I also think it's good value for money compared to others.
