Big Shot Die Cutting and Embossing Arts and Craft Machine for Card Making, Scrapbooking and Journaling, 14 1/4" x 12 3/8" x 6 5/8"

I have the Big Shot Pro and absolutely love this machine. I bought this smaller version so I can take it with me as the PRO is very big and heavy. I also wanted to have this one to cut the smaller dies and I can put on my crafting table beside me. Like the PRO this is a very well built machine; it is solid and very sturdy when you are turning the handle. It cuts dies with ease; you may have to run some of the more intricate dies through more than once and this also helps to bring out the embossed detail more. I also find that by using the smaller plates and putting more than one die on at a time; it helps with keeping your plates straighter. A great versatile machine and I would highly recommend this machine to all crafters especially those who are just starting out crafting; you literally take it out of the box; attach the handle and away you go. The multipurpose platform has instructions on what sandwich to use for the various dies; thin dies; bigz dies etc and also what sandwich to use for embossing. Very easy and simple to use.

It's a great device if you enjoy card making and feel crafty. There's many different dies you can get and even embossing sets you can use with the machine. Need tighten the screw on the handle a few times but that could just be because I've used often.

This is a lovely little machine if, like me, you just dabble in card making or crafting. This is my second machine and the first one, which had lasted me 10 years, was still working when I handed it on to a ‘beginner’. I have arthritic thumbs and was actually looking at electric machines but some of the reviews put me off (and the price). This isn’t cheap but if it sees me through the next 10 years, I’ll be thrilled. This model is much tidier than the first one and it certainly does the job.

I'm on around my fifth Big Shot. I use mine almost daily, so I do eventually work them to death! But I always buy another one. The Big Shot is a real work horse, strong and sturdy and also very easy to use. I have an eBosser for my larger dies (rarely used) but I just love my Big Shot.

I don't know why I waited so long to buy this! Excellent addition to my crafting room. I can use it for numerous types of crafts and for many purposes. I initially bought it to make cut out large felt shapes for Christmas garlands but am now using it on shrink plastic to make jewelry and accessories. It is very easy to use! All you need to do when you take it out of the box is attach the handle! And then you're ready to cut! This price is very VERY good as the US Amazon charges nearly twice the price for the same thing! They retail for well over $100(£80) in shops here in Ireland and the UK. If you're a crafter, it's the best £50 you'll ever spend! Note: This item is for the die cut machine only, the thinlits die cuts in my review photo were a separate purchase. They do not come with this item. I posted them to show what the Big Shot machine can do.

Love using this sizzix machine, so far I’ve used it for card making and cutting fabrics for appliqué. Easy to carry from one room to another as it’s not too heavy, the size isn’t too big so doesn’t take up much space on a table. It’s easy to store but can’t be stored in its box unless you remove the handle every time because it won’t fit back in with it on. Would definitely recommend.

Received this as a birthday present and being new to card making took a while to suss it out. After looking at the range of machines on offer I made the decision to have the Big Shot. I am so glad I did as it has enabled me to produce beautiful cards that look so professional. Having previously only used my neighbours different branded machine I wasn't sure but in a couple of days i'm an old hand at it! The ease of use and the robust construction will allow me to go on making cards as a hobby for many years to come. It comes with 1 Platform, 1 Thin Die Adapter and 1 Pair of Standard Cutting Pads. The dies are widely available on Amazon etc, with lots coming from China at silly price ranging from 99p upwards but well made and as good as you can buy for 3 times the price at craft shops. Go on treat yourself!

This big shot is wonderful for my purposes. As a card maker I do lots of die cuts. This big shot I would definitely recommend. It is the best!

Fonctionne très bien, les découpes sont parfaites. Néanmoins, j'ai rencontré une petite difficulté lorsque j'ai voulu embosser. Tantôt il me manquait une légère épaisseur, tantôt ça ne passait pas sous le rouleau. J'ai donc ajouté une simple feuille cartonnée en plus du jeu de plaque pour obtenir un bon résultat. Ça se joue à pas grand chose !

J ai hésité, me demandant si cette petite machine allait pouvoir m'aider à réaliser mes projets. Après avoir acheté matrices et pochoirs : embossage et découpe fonctionnent à merveille. Il faut prévoir un carton mince (comme les enveloppes Amazon) pour obtenir la hauteur voulue lors de l'utilisation avec des pochoirs un peu minces. A vir si d
