Wera make high quality tools and this is no exception.
Wera make very high quality tools and this is no exception. Easily the best ratchet action screwdriver I have ever owned. Expensive, but you get what you pay for. The Wera 889/4 Universal Rapidaptor Bit Holder, 1/4" Drive x 100 mm, 05052504001 is the perfect companion for this screwdriver, an unbeatable combination when you need additional length/clearance. No bits provided, by the way, just in case you're expecting a few to be tucked inside the handle. I think Wera produce a version of this screwdriver which does come with a few bits, if that's of any interest. In short, you can't go wrong with this tool, its functionality and build quality are pretty much perfect in every way. A top notch tool.

Good grip and works well
Great smaller ratchet screwdriver. Really good shape, fits the hand well. The ratchet action is smooth and works well. My go-to smaller screwdriver. The price point is a little more than I usually pay, but the quality is good and I trust it not to shear the ratchet mechanism - unlike cheap tools I’ve used before. I will look for a bigger one next time there’s a price reduction.

Far better than the Stanley speed drive that replaced it
Great little ratchet, well made, good weight to it with a comfy ergonomic grip. May not be ideal for someone with shovels for hands, but mine are a good size and I really like the way this feels. The quick release bit is great and works with all standard impact bits of all sizes....haven't tried them with a standard hex shank yet but it is magnetised aswell so shouldn't be a problem...works well with one handed operation. Excellent ratchet, sturdy mechanism. Bit of play as with every ratchet I've ever owned but much better than the Stanley speed drive that it replaced with pretty smooth operation. Best ratchet I've owned to date and well worth the price tag

Versatile, strong and reliable. Every toolbox needs one!
Fantastic tool. Very easy to use, very strong and reliable. This is the third one I've bought - one for my workshop, one for each of the two cars' tool boxes. I also bought a set of mixed 150mm hex bits. Occasionally you need a long screwdriver blade, not just one of the 1 inch hex bits that you get everywhere.

Quality, yet expensive
Feels very substantial in the hand :-o and is clearly very well made, however, for what it is, I still can't help but feel it is a little overpriced. The box is a nice touch.

Top quality
I had one of these for 6 years and it was my only screwdriver, I just swapped the bits, when needed. I bought another well known brand when the Wera needed replacing and the ratchet gave up after a month. Back to Wera. Top quality and should last as long as the first one. Solid, grippy ergonomic handle and easy bit changing. Highly recommended.

Hopefully my last screwdriver.
All round excellent screwdriver, hopefully the last ratchet screwdriver that I purchase. Previously I've had a few which have since become rusty or the ratcheting mechanism isn't as good as it once was. This screwdriver has a much more premium feel to it and is a pleasure to use. One thing which is taking a little bit of getting used to is that the fitting that attaches the screw bit too the screwdriver has to be pushed up, whereas my muscle memory tries to push it down. Not a massive issue, which is why this remains at 5 stars, just something I need to get used to. I decided not to go for a screwdriver which included bits in the handle, I have a good selection of bits already and don't need more, though I understand that this would be convenient. One of the main reasons I went for this screwdriver over others was the fact that you can use a bit extender if you wish, but by default you don't have one, so that you can get into tricky to reach spaces more easily. I bought a selection of bit extenders for if I ever require it.

Quality
Wera tools = the price sometimes hurts, but the quality is absolutely excellent. I paired this with a Wera bit set. None of those monkey metal bits that the heads are as soft as cheese. The ones to pair with this are brilliant, but back to the screwdriver. There's not much to say about a racheting screwdriver, but if you want, no deserve, an upgrade then I would pick one of Wera's screwdriver range. Don't worry about the price, it will be with you for years to come. No, I don't work for them or get free products. I use my own money to buy Wera kit! Recommended (a lot!)
