This is great stuff. I do get gum ulcers/blisters sometimes but haven't had any since using this. Also seems to be good for keeping tonsil stones at bay. Wouldn't say it keeps your breath lasting fresh, but I don't suppose that's the main aim

If you have read Dr Ellie's Complete Mouthcare system (popular youtuber), you will know that she recommends three mouthwashes, first Ultradex, then you brush your teeth, then Listerine Cool Mint Mouthwash, then ACT. According to whichwayhow dot com which evaluated her system, Colgate Fluorigard Fluoride Rinse is an excellent replacement for ACT, which is not available in shops in the UK, and very expensive online and/or by import. I have been using it as part of the system for over a year and find it very effective in maintaining the health of my teeth and gums. It doesn't have a 'strong' taste, or bite, like Listerine, and is great at restoring the Ph balance to your mouth after using Listerine. There's a good reason you see it lining many dentist's surgeries! Highly recommend this excellent product.

I really like this mouthwash. It’s alcohol-free, so there’s no burning sensation, and the mint flavour is fresh but not overpowering. It leaves my mouth feeling clean and helps protect enamel without drying out my mouth. Great for daily use and ideal if you want fluoride benefits without harsh ingredients.

Recommended by our dentist. Gentle mint flavour, used to help my gums. Good price.

I feel like I've tried every trick in the book for those awful, painful mouth ulcers that seem to pop up from nowhere. You know the kind – they make eating and talking a misery for days on end. On the recommendation of my dentist, I picked up a bottle of Colgate Peroxyl, and I am so incredibly glad I did. It’s not an exaggeration to say this has been a total game-changer for me. I'd been struggling with a particularly nasty ulcer on the inside of my cheek, and after just one day of using Peroxyl, the relief was immense. The sharp, stinging pain had dulled to a much more manageable ache. By day three, it was practically gone. I was genuinely amazed. What I really like is the unique, gentle foaming action when you swish it around your mouth. It feels like it's actively cleaning and getting right to the sore spot without being harsh or aggressive. The flavour is a pleasant, mild mint – nothing like the fiery, alcohol-based mouthwashes that can feel like they’re doing more harm than good. Because it's alcohol-free, there's absolutely no painful burn, just a clean and soothing sensation. I've since used it for general gum irritation when I've been a bit overzealous with my brushing, and it has calmed things down beautifully overnight. For anyone in the UK who suffers from occasional mouth ulcers, sore gums, or any minor irritation from braces or dentures, I honestly can't recommend this enough. It provides fast, effective relief and has earned a permanent spot in my medicine cabinet. It’s one of those products you'll be incredibly thankful to have on hand the moment you need it.

I love this. I had been using a well known brand for sore gums but it was staining my teeth really badly. My dentist recommend this instead. No more staining and it does a better job with my sore gums.

Genuinely don’t leave reviews often at all. I love Amazon because I love reading the reviews and finding the best products. And this is a great product. I really struggle with mouth ulcers, sometimes when I’m just run down and partly due to the burden of ‘not quite there’ wisdom teeth. I was sceptical, but also desperate and this mouth wash does not disappoint! This along with some Abesol and you will feel like you are winning. It’s pleasant in taste, doesn’t sting and it’s fast acting.

First and last time using a hydrogen peroxide mouthwash, immediately left with canker sore under tongue after stopping use of this, have never experienced any in my entire life, avoid.
