Excellent.
I have ordered from Naissance before, (Neem oil on that occassion), and their quick delivery and excellent product then is what made me choose them this time for the Castor oil. This is the first time I have used Castor oil and I am impressed.I'm using it as a moisturiser for face, body and as a leave in hair conditioner.Skin and hair feel great. I moisturised my face first, then used the tiny amount of residue left on the palms of my hands to condition my hair. As it is such a thick oil I knew that only a tiny amount would be needed to condition my very fine hair.As it is so thick, a little goes a long way. Some of it did end up soaking into the inside of my jammies, but I was expecting that, and I don't consider that a problem. In future I will simply either apply then wipe off excess with a towel or kitchen roll before getting dressed, or just allow the excess to be absorbed by a pair of jammies and then either change the jammies or get dressed. For me this really is a minor issue that can be easily managed and the benefits far outway this issue. It really wasn't that much that ended up on the inside of my jammies anyway and it's not going to cause any permanent stains.Looks like I have finally found a suitable natural alternative to the 99.9% nasty chemicals commercial moisturisers and hair conditioners that I used to use, thankfully.Oh, and it also appears to have resolved the oily T zone area on my face that I used to have. I used to think that was just the way my skin was. Now I'm thinking that it was down to the commercial moisturiser.Natural is the way to go for sure.Love my Castor oil and thank you Naissance for another great product and quick service.

Love It
This will always be a staple hair and skin care item in my home. Totally brilliant on both my skin and hair. I did use this item for a while to do oil washes on my face. It worked very well for about 3 months and then I got the most scary acne on my cheeks. I can't say that it was caused by my caster oil facial washes as it worked very well in the first three months, with absolutely no problems whatsoever.I don't use it on my face anymore, but it is in all of my body care products (and if it isn't, then I add it in).For my hair, it took a while to figure out the best way to use it. I use it to do 'oil baths' for my hair. Cover my hair from roots to tip in castor oil, put 4/5 plastic bags on, with a scarf over them - for 10 mins (any longer and my face is covered in oil seeping out from under the plastic bags). Rinse off completely with warm water, condition with a wash-out conditiioner. I have some of the healthiest, silkiest hair I have ever had with this method.

Good product
I found this is really good, hair feels softer, silky, looks shinier after use. So long, only used it 3 times, once a week/2weeks. Definitely hair feels nourished after use. It's a bit tricky to put it on, as its quite thick, takes time to get used to it. I wrap cling film over, once I soak my hair in it, so it doesn't drip, and keep it on for as much as I can. I personally love the results. It wont fix your damaged bleached hair, nothing will! But it will make it softer. Would recommend!!! Great value for money!By the way, I didn't notice any strong smell to it.

1 little organic castor oil, wise purchase!
I heard about benefits of Castor oil and was very eager to try. Unfortunately, my first purchase did not yield the desired results, as it was too thick and quality was truly very poor.I decided to upgrade to an organic version and after reading several reviews I opted for this particular supplier. How glad I did.I am suffering from female patter boldness, which means my hair are thinning and falling. I managed to stop hair-loss with the help of natural oils, and whilst it did not help me to regrow my hair, the hair-loss reduced significantly. The problem of dry hair remained, and one will know that dry hair is unhealthy looking hair. After applying castor and olive oil mixture (organic cold pressed for the same brand) my hair look picture perfect. I keep my oiled hair wrapped for at least 3 hours (better overnight), and wash with mild organic shampoo. I do not need to conditioner. It visibly thickened my hair, restored elasticity, manageability and softness, gave more volume and shine.I also massage my hands and face with it, before showering and my skin is supple and line free and I am well over 30.I would HIGHLY recommend this oil.

Good
The quality of the castor oil is good but I didn’t realise it would arrive in a plastic bottle which defeats the purpose. Castor oil should be stored in glass jars ideally. Still, I know for next time.
