Job done
Bought for my half Danish son for his school International day so he could be a Viking. It’s solidly made, with a decent weight to it but safe for young kids. The design is attractive and it was very effective with other Viking costume items. Job done for A Viking outfit.

Looks great, but remember it is only foam
After 2 months, a hefty bashing resulted in the head coming off the handle. As it's all foam, I was able to fix by pushing the equivalent of a toothpick into the handle and sticking the top on the other end, but further hefty bashing just broke the toothpick. It's currently holding with a combination of about 4 of them. Probably not an ideal solution especially for younger users, my 9 year old has now realised he is too strong to bash as hard as he used to. However it looks great, is certainly more robust than I had expected, and tbh I don't think it really stood a chance and probably did well to last as long as it did!

Happy 7 year old
My 7 year old nephew wanted an axe for his birthday (not a boring one, obviously!). This fitted the bill perfectly. It was lightweight yet sturdy and he didn't put it down all day.
