Microwaveable Heat/Cool Pack, Soft Long Mint Fleece 42cm - Heat Pad for Pain Relief

Having suffered a knee injury I ordered this item and it was delivered very quickly. It is easy to heat up in the microwave and wraps round the injured part easily. I have also used it in the freezer, but feel that using it as a heat pad is best for me at the moment.

Doesn't stay warm for too long, but can get quite hot. Had to microwave a lot longer than recommended time however.

I followed the heating instructions but it was barely warm afterwards, I put it in for longer and a big hole was burnt into it! After the first couple of uses it seemed to warm up quicker.

Bought for work mainly as it can get chilly. Easy to heat to warm up cold hands or feet etc. can sit at your desk with your feet on it, all nice and toasty. No lavender smell either which is a huge bonus.

It didn't heat up at all well and held no heat. Even after putting it in the microwave for a much longer time than stated it was not good.

Item as described

The microwaveable heat / cool pack arrived before schedule. The fabric and stitching is of a good quality. It's a lovely teal colour and is well filled with stone / clay beads (not under filled). It definitely needs longer than the 30 seconds (stated on the instructions) to heat to an adequate temperature in my 800 watt microwave. However, when heated, it remained warm for quite some time and it had a pleasant but subtle minty aroma. I haven't used it as a cool pack yet.

Only holds its heat for 5-10 mins and needs to be reheated, even in a microwave this makes it expensive these days. Plus having to keep on getting up and down unless you have a willing helper is not helpful. I will be returning this item.
