I was looking for a basic roof bars, did not want to pay too much. found these. the price was right so I ordered it. I took it out of the box, all parts were there. the bars feel like made of a low to medium quality aluminum. I went for my Chevrolet Captiva for a fit test. tried to open the locks, 2 opened easily, 2 wouldn't open. fiddled a bit and found out that you need to push and pull the cap a bit, until you find the right spot for the lock to open. once you get this in mind, its pretty easy to lock and unlock. started to build a shed, so went to buy 2"X4". loaded 10 boards 5.5 meters long. this was way too heavy for the roof bars, you can see in the picture that the front one, which had most of the load, bend quite a lot, but it survived the 15 minutes drive home and went back to its original shape when unloaded the logs. fitting the bars is a bit of a pain to do with the included wrench. so I got out the cordless drill and a long Signet 5mm hex and this made fitting the bars very simple and fast. for final tightening I still use the supplied wrench. over all, worth its money, but only for light load.

poor the locks are completely pointless you just pull the cap off as the mental is so thin so don't relay on that, they also dont fist the brackets for a standard roof box so ive had to buy bigger brackets and drill more holes in the roof box , then i im veery suspect on how well they grip the rales on the car as i not managed to get them to grip yet so will see im needing to drive to France in the next 24hours with a roof box we will leave with the box on lets see if its still there when we get to dover open fitting to car they do not fit securely and a few days out of the return window so £45 in the bin do not buy they are cheep made and dangerous

These types of products tend to be quite expensive and the seller offers a value for money tool but make no mistake, as other reviewers have discovered, you will have to be patient. Delivered in good time and product packaging in good order, I was pleased with what was sent. It is sturdy but if you don't repeatedly tighten, there is a little slippage. That is not to say that the roof rack is unsafe, you just have to be very particular over the way that you assemble and tighten. This can take a little time, but I'm sure that it would with any similar item of the same nature. The real issue - as per other reviews - is the anti-theft locking mechanism. You really do have to have the patience of a saint to work the mechanism. However, once you have resolved that and the product is tight to the roof bars, then you are away. Despite what other reviewers have said, there was very little noise from the fitting, despite travelling at speeds of 50mph plus and even when I had added padding to put items on top. This was really not a problem for me, the aero-dynamic design was working fine for me and I can assure all readers of this review that I am not hard of hearing but I do have a relatively quiet vehicle so if there was a noise issue I am sure I would be aware. So far there is no sign of rust, corrosion or wear and tear - although the product was a very recent purchase. Overall I was happy with the product and definitely feel it was value for money.

Got these for a Cornwall trip. Fitted on my 2013 Nissan qashqai. No issues with the locks, they are stiff but line them up and they go on. Didn't move for the whole trip. Very happy and would recommend. Edit: 1 issue of note. Without anything on the bars they whistle when driving. Shame really as they look good.

Bought these for my Mercedes EQB even though they aren’t listed as compatible I thought it was worth a try. They are the same width (130cm) as other more expensive models recommended for this car but figured they just hadn’t been tested on this vehicle yet. They are a great fit, easy to. Adjust width and tighten. The bars aren’t wider than the car. The feet are a little deeper than the roof bars on the car but this didn’t seem to effect the fit at all. The bars in general are a little flimsier than other makes but they did the job perfectly and absolutely fantastic for the price. Managed to fit our roof box with tent & accessories without any issues. Posting this review incase others with similar vehicles were struggling to find something. The feet on the bars side back and forth to adjust for different widths between bars on vehicles. Just make sure you have a width of around 110cm or less between your bars on roof otherwise they may not be wide enough.

Barre montate su una Ford Tourneo. La confezione contiene le due barre, 4 tappi per l'estremità con ognuno la propria chiave (tutte uguali, utile comunque per velocizzare le operazione di montaggio potendo trattenere i 4 tappi tutti insieme) e la chiave a brugola per bloccare/sbloccare il portapacchi ai rails della macchina, oltre alle istruzioni. Le barre sono in alluminio con un bel profilo a sezione areodinamica, le ganasce in plastica nera, anche loro di fattura gradevole; il montaggio è intuitivo e veloce, ho comunque guardato preventivamente su youtube il video del produttore per capire se andassero bene per la mia macchina e se ci fossero accorgimenti particolari. Le ganasce delle pinze hanno delle gomme per ridurre le vibrazioni e non graffiare i rails, tendono a non stare al loro posto quando il portapacchi è smontato ma poi non hanno dato problemi ne in viaggio ne successivamente. Le ho tenute sul tetto per parecchi mesi, con e senza baule portatutto e non ho avvertito particolari rumori o riduzione di prestazioni nel veicolo. Pagate meno di 50€, molto belle e ben fatte per la loro categoria di prezzo, almeno rispetto ad altre che ho visto con bloccaggi quasi a livello casalingo con bulloni a vista e barre a sezione rettangolare.

Para lo que las uso (verano para llevar las tablas de surf a la playa) son perfectas. Lo único que a veces hacen ruido, con las tablas de surf no y sin ellas a veces. Creo que depende del viento. Si son para momentos puntuales las recomiendo , sin son para uso diario etc...me compraría unas buenas que te garantizasen que no hicieran ruido.
