Ration-X™ Self Heating Field Ration Pack Ready To Eat Meal Menu C Vegan

Bought this in Jan 2016 to keep in the car in case of emergency and fortunately haven't had the need to use it. Then upon checking it realized the curry had gone out of date by a month , everything else was 2018. So decided to try it out this afternoon and mmmmmmm, I have to report the vegi curry and apple pie (I decided to try the lot) were delicious. The curry was tomato based spicy and gorgeous and the apple pie had cinammon through it, very like a soft pastry pop tart in appearance and was lovely. The biscuits were broken in bits but very nice with the chocolate spread, hazelnutty nom nom. The rest of the pack was the usual tea, coffee which I didn't need to try but I shall try the hot chocolate drink over the next week and if the rest of this pack is anything to go by I doubt i'll be disappointed. About to order another pack and fingers crossed I won't get snowed in my car till it gets here but this ration pack gets a double thumbs up from me.

I got stuck in a traffic jam a couple of years ago and had to abandon my car for a night because of snow. I would have stayed in my car had I had something to eat but was starving. This is perfect - not tried any of the food yet - the shelf life I feel is a bit short (18 months) but for just over a tenner, if I get caught again in a wintery traffic Jam, this will ensure I am nourished appropriately for day or night.

Hopefully this will STIR an interest in cooking.Later on in life anyway. But for now it's something totally outside their beauty, selfie, clothes, makeup world. Absorbed their interest. It was totally different, and unexpected.

I bought this as a gift for my younger brother who is entralled with survival shows.Its a great one off gift - however the packaging isnt great. Its packaged. In a see through zip lock bag, if intended as a gift it may be best to unpackage and gift box. However if your wanting this purely for the calorie content and experiance id go with it

Package seems to include all the trimmings and teaches you that the Scandinavia languages are very similar, so there's even some educational factor to this as you huddle together at the dawn of a new age, ready to rebuild society on a full stomach.

Ordered vegan, recieved non vegan. However, customer service was fantastic. Used part of the pack and all was fine with the actual product as easy meals for wild camping. Would defo order again for my next wild camping trip.

First time using this brand of ration pack. Good combination of foods and a good spork included. We all want things cheaper but it's on par with similar products out there. I'd purchase this type of pack again.
