Works well on large, medium, and even small apples. Seems solidly built and cutting edge is sharp.

I've broken plastic apple slicers—some within weeks, others within days—I looked for a slicer with a ring made of metal. I had to compromise and get a 12 cut slicer instead. This one is weighty and sharp. I like that it is made completely stainless steel and is dishwasher safe. Sometimes the apple slices break (but it that the fault of the slicer, the slicer operator or the apples themselves? (twisted centers or brittle apples.) If only I could find one made of stainless that will make 16 slices instead of 12.

I like the large size and that it gives me more slices. Just wish the blades were a little sharper. If your weak or really old you may not be able to push it down all the way. Also bigger us only better for big apple not small because it takes out too much of the core. I'm still happy I bout because I'll have it forever unlike my dollar store slicer

My previous slicer was made of plastic and felt on the verge of snapping. This one feels solid and the blades are no joke.

For the price this is a great apple slicer/corer. It does require some umph (as I’m sure most do) though I’m a small and not particularly strong person and I was able to use this without any issues. It is large enough to cut most apples I’ve seen or bought and i like that it’s all steel so it’s sturdy, washes well and doesn’t break easily. You can’t beat the price either. Just have to pull the bottom pieces of the apple out since it’s hard to fully cut through the bottom part of the apple. Definitely worth the buy and makes my life easier for a family that consumes many apples a day

The blade could be a bit sharper but one think is for sure it won't break like my old one with plastic handles. Even though could be sharper does cut through pretty well

I had a plastic apple slicer and it would always break when pressure was applied, this one is sturdy nicer slices. Much easier to use great product and a great price.

Cheap Junk. Fell apart after only a few months. Held together weak welds that fail very easily.
