Impressive quality
I have used it for around 2 months. I wish I had bought this as soon as I started playing. This was my second bat and it improved my game by a lot. My first bat was a totally overpriced branded and terrible Stiga bat called Stiga Boom, this was a way better investment for the price. The level of control and spin on the paddle is impressive and in just a few hours playing with it you can feel the difference in your game if you're coming from a cheap/bad bat. The handle is very comfortable and it's a joy to play with. It is quite heavy, but you'll get used to it. It's also pretty slow, but this is an advantage if you're a beginner as you can compensate for the speed with body movement and that will improve your technique. As you progress and transition to a slightly more aggressive game you'll start to feel the lack of speed more and more noticeable, at which point you'll want to either switch the rubbers or the blade altogether. Everyone has complimented my improved gameplay and I started to improve much faster with each training after switching to this bat. I have just switched to a Viscaria FL+Rasant Grip+Mark V for more offensive game, but the Eastfield helped me get a pretty good technique. I highly recommend this.

Quit a good quality of the product
Quit a good quality of the product. But it is very slow with a good control. Good for beginners as the first bat. Price is a bit high..

Decent but overpriced.
OK I bought this on the reviews posted. played with it tonight and but for the label I would not have know whether I had the Blutenkirsche or the Easton in my hand. The pair of Blutenhirsche bats that I paid 30 quid for (the pair), are slightly heavier, but every bit as good,: spin, speed and control for less than half the price still just as sticky as the Easton after 3 months of hard play for 2 hours solid every week. Alas, I wasted 30 (45-15), quid. Do not waste your money on this bat; buy a PAIR of Blutenkirsche and spend the 15 quid on a nice case, or maybe put it toward the Blutenkirshe Black Mamba carbon compound 7-ply which comes with a case for around £40 delivered here on Amazon. Not to be too harsh though, I did get 10 knocked off when I bought the Easton case together with the bat. The Easton bat is decent, but compared to the Blutenkirsche it is WAY overpriced; therefore I dropped two stars on the rating. If you are reading this Easton - time you put this on offer and do not try to claim that your product is better quality - it isn't.

Great bat
i'm beginner/intermediate and this bat is great and very forgiving and easy to master strokes and control the ball. Rubbers are sticky and top spin is easy, ball not as fast off blade as other bats i tried but easy to control and im definitely keeping the ball on the table a lot more. It feels heavier in the 'tip' than my previous bat (Palio evolve) but this seems to aid stroke play/control. If i was going to mark the bat down it would be on finish, one of the rubbers has a small grain of something behind it which sticks out (more annoying than anything) and one of the rubbers isnt cut neat to the blade edge and hence the tape doesn't fit perfectly flat. The finish on the Palio was better but the bat isnt as forgiving and harder to control the ball. Overall the performance of this bat is hard to fault and id highly recommend.

Great bat from Eastfield
I am a retired chap who plays Table tennis for a couple of hours on a Monday morning with similar other OAP's. I have just been seconded into the local league and play against assorted humanity at all levels about once a fortnight.I can honestly say that this bat has upped my game. I now realise that my previous bat was about as basic as possible, but even with these limited comparisons I know that my Eastfield bat is far superior. It looks good and plays great. The packaging was excellent....understated but classy. I know that I am the only player at my club with an Eastfield bat, but then maybe I am the only chap who spent a day...yes a day.... on reading all comparison and evaluation sites on the net, which helped make my decision to buy this brand. The only downside is that the bat is better than the wielder (at the moment).

Love It!
I bought this bat as an investment to really try and up my game. I have played all my life but never bought a professional bat before. Always using the ones that come with the table or a cheaper one from Amazon. Recently my roommate bought a nice Palio bat that he has been beating me with. I wanted to even the playing field and this bat has done just that. Awesome bat! It takes a bit to get used to... but like everything in life but the reward is well worth it. Very nicely crafted, good spin, excellent speed. I have had several people compliment on the increased speed in my game. My chops are very difficult to return as well. It is the first really nice bat I have ever owned. I could not go back to my old bat. I have now bought some of the rubbers separately so I have spare.

Disappointed
My son who has been playing for a couple of years now, aged 13 liked this bat. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be fit for purpose as he has only been using it for 3 months. The rubber as seen in picture is coming away and the bat has now snapped at the handle section. We have tried to superglue it for now. Let's see if it holds. He has had much cheaper bats and not had this type of problem.

Love this bat
Having come back to table tennis I needed bat with control, spinny enough, but not stupid fast. I have really improved and bat has come along with me, it's definitely great for improvers. The great thing about this bat is that it makes you work a little bit on everything, it isn't super sticky and the sweet spot is not too massive. I have found this has helped me focus on technique. I would definitely recommend as a no fuss option, it also looks the part, especially with the case.
