This is the perfect addition to your aquarium as far as a heater. Just set it and go and when your water level gets low depending where you put it it will beep to protect the heater with the added bonus of letting you know your water level is low

I purchased this heater in November and it failed in April. However, with very little hassle The sent me a brand new one in a few days. Aslong as that first one was a dud and this one lasts ill be happy. Heats well. Easy to use. Until failure kept the pond perfect.

not easiest thing to hide in aquarium , but love the way it works, and controls are on outside of tank, holds temp well in a 75 gallon tank

I had this for maybe 2 months when my fish started to act weird and die. Went to put my hand into the tank and got quite painfully shocked. Obviously I checked everything and deduced it was this heater. I contacted the company and they tell me a little static is normal… so I have the heater tested with a multimeter, send them proof that the heater faulty. Verify that the glass tubes are sound, there is a ground, and walked them through water changes, shutting down the heater for water changes and so on as recommended by the instructions. TWICE I go through this with support and get “we will let you know”… this is now going on two month and nothing. Really unfortunate how much money I have spent slowly switching over to Hygger products the last 4 or so years…. The customer service is absolutely crap….. picture showing the fault

**Update: company stood behind their product and sent me a new heater. Still marking it down a star due to the concern of possible fire.**Stopped working after 2 months. Started beeping non stop and making a weird vibrating noise inside control box. Sounded like it was shorting out. THANK GOD I was sitting right there when it happened. Displayed HH which Hygger says temp is over 95. It was not, measured in multiple spots, all state temp is 77. Scary incident. Glad it didn't electrocute my fish OR cause a fire,

I recently added this heater to my 90 gallon tank after my old heater died. This has been powerful and accurate but I REALLY wish the sides weren't bright orange as it really sticks out in a nicely planted tank and is quite the eyesore. I probably would not purchase this again due to the color. A black option would be highly preferred.

This is the best designed fish tank heat I know so far, the manufacture custom service is also very responsive and stand behind their products.

Using the 1000W heater my 110 gal aquarium for a few weeks and it works great. I do recommend keeping a separate thermometer. As with other reviews, the thermometer on my heater is off by +2 degrees. I don’t mind though. It keeps the water temp regulated within 1 degree. The digital gauge makes it easy to set the temp without having to guess. Overall, definitely recommend and would buy again.
