Ladies digital with stainless steel wrist watch LA670W

Lovely, little watch, but It feels delicate. This watch was delivered from Italy to the UK within 2 days of ordering. However, a little pricey at £32 when other sellers on Amazon charge £18 for it. Additionally, the usual Casio gift box is missing with the watch being delivered in a small shoe sized padded box! However, there was a turquoise velvet pouch sent with it. The watch strap is a little sharp and scratchy but it's adjustable. It is water-resistant and works on a 12h clock. There is no light on it, but it's easy to read. Very simple to use, includes a timer option/ date/month/alarm/ stopwatch. Ideal for a small/medium wrist, gets lost on larger wrist.

My first digital watch - and first Casio as well! Really like the look of this watch. It is large enough to read easily but not overwhelming in size on my wrist. Took me a while to work out how to set the time (first Casio!), but found an online video guide, and I then adjusted the strap with the help of my other half who pushed the clip firmly back into place for me. The watch is nice and light on the wrist too - not heavy like my other watch - all in all, I am impressed. It is such a classy design too, the way the wrist band tapers, and it is very comfortable to wear. Love it!

I have been looking for a nice, small faced digital watch for a while now, so I was really pleased when I came across this one on Amazon, and even more pleased to find out it was a Casio watch. I was thrilled when the watch arrived, its easy to use and has the perfect face size for my wrist (I have very small wrists) I needed to adjust the strap on the watch quite significantly, unfortunately the instruction book didn't explain how easy it was, I only learnt how to adjust by reading a review of the watch on Amazon!! It really is simple, just use a small flat head screwdriver to release the catch under the fastening clasp (where the arrow is) and you can slide the clasp along the strap to the desired size! It really was easy, and I was pleased to be able to wear the watch right away, without the need to visit a jeweller to adjust the strap! The only draw back is that the watch doesn't feature a backlight, but hey, nobodys perfect!! Overall, a gorgeous little watch!

Lovely refined ladies watch. In my experience, it's really difficult to find a nice digital watch that isn't absolutely huge, or made of some horrendous brightly coloured plastic/rubber if you are a woman. This one is perfect for me - it's silver, so it looks nice with most things, it's thin (both in the width of the strap and the thickness of the face) so it isn't huge and unwieldy and the strap adjusts so I can fit it on my freakishly small wrists (an issue I've had with many watches is that they spin round my arm all the time - not so with this one). It's very simple - it does have alarm and stopwatch functionality as well as a timer up to 30 minutes, but there's no day/date or backlight. However, it's still probably the best watch I've ever owned.

Really tiny version. Not like expected.

Bought this for youngest as he kept on forgetting to go to his music lessons at school. Now I just set the alarm for him on the day, and he knows he has to go! Classic Casio design (I think these were around in the 80s, and why change it?) very nicely built and finished, very adjustable strap, and he hasn't managed to break it yet, which is a bonus! His watches always used to survive, it was the straps that kept tearing / fraying etc, so a metal strap is obviously the way to go with a lively 9 year old boy. Perfect.

Thank you Casio for at last producing a ladies digital watch with a metal strap and an easy countdown timer and at an excellent price. I used a boys watch of this same design (there wasn't one for ladies) for about ten years, but once it stopped working I couldn't replace it. I have been lost without it for the past five years or so as if like me you lead a busy life and constantly need to remind yourself to e.g. pick up the children, or ring a person in 15 minutes, then the countdown timer is wonderful. Unlike other digital watches that require you to go through complicated menus to access the countdown timer, this model only requires you to press a button one, two , three times etc. to set the timer for one, three or five minutes etc., up to half an hour. A further improvement would be to also have the option of one hour, but I have to make do with setting it each half hour. I have only given it four stars as I found it quite difficult to adjust the strap (having arthritis in my fingers). I am sure that it would get easier if I alter it a few times but initially it was very stiff. Casio, how about making a middle aged professional lady very happy by producing a ladies digital watch that is attractive for both work and special occasions. I would still like a metal strap and the same countdown timer, but more attractive and with optional coloured faces. I feel really angry that watchmakers seem to think that only men want digital watches. The only ones produced in the last twenty years or so have been very unattractive to someone of my age as they look tacky and have plastic straps, so are aimed only at the younger market. Are there other ladies out there also who like good quality digital watches but are not being catered for?
