I cannot sleep without this! This cooling mat goes under the top of my pillow case on my pillow every night after keeping in the fridge all day. Genuinely helps me so much with my heat intolerance from my chronic illnesses. It keeps me cool and lets me have a way better quality of sleep! Perfect for hot days too whether you lean it against your back or rest your feet on it.. whatever! I prefer sleeping with it. Such a big difference I buy one of these every 9-12 months and it’s so worth the money for me.

Great for menopause hot flushes at night and easy to pack in suitcases for holidays. To just relax and feel in control of what temperature you feel comfortable with. Great for the price to, This company really produces things to a high standard and I’m 100% satisfied.

Bought one of these because I can't stand the hot nights, as rare as they are in the UK! Was very pessimistic but at the price it was worth a go. When I took it out of the box I was a bit worried as you couldn't feel the coolness and it was very heavy but the first night I placed it on top of the pillow and must say the cooling was fantastic, albeit a bit of a strange feeling. Surprisingly comfortable to lie your head on as well. Awoke a few hours later and the coolness had subsided but was delighted to see that just flipping over to the other side worked. The third night was particularly hot and the pillow didn't do a great job but placed it in the fridge during the day and it was very cool with a pillow case over it. It doesn't stay cool in hot temperatures all night but I doubt you will find a product that does. So far therefore very pleasantly surprised and may buy another for my feet!

Realising from others' reviews that these are best used at the time that actually required rather than 'per se' and expecting them to provide an ongoing cooling sensation, I tested this out for the first time last night. [Context: I had been using a supplement for nightsweats which had been very effective for 2+ months but then the effect wore off and I'm currently taking a hiatus before resuming them in the hope of renewed effectiveness.]At the stage during the night when the hot flushes and nightsweats became overwhelming, I put this mat in the bed under the hottest part of my body ie the torso, and it gave the much-required & welcome immediate relief without being *too* cold (which was my concern as I am prone to being cold generally, and also have been experiencing some intense shivering amidst the hot flushes and nightsweats). As time wore on, my temperature gradually altered from the much-welcomed cooling effect to stabilising at 'just right' comfort for the hours thereafter.Very pleased with it and hoping it will see me through the 'supplements hiatus' and beyond when resuming them, both for nightsweats (either on the pillow or as a mat, depending on whether my neck or torso most requires it) and to sit on during daytime hot flushes.Seems robust and good quality.

Not as good as they used to be as they appear to have thinned the gel inside so it moves out of place inside, so cooling effect is lost where you want it unless you have a rectangular head of the same size! Otherwise ok.

Bought for our 5 and 9 year old kids who often, easily overheat, especially during the occasional heatwaves we get. The cooling mats dont stay cool all night but they definitely stay cooler for longer compared to a cheaper type one we got for them a few years ago. This cooling pad is thicker, as it is filled with more cooling gel inside, which is why it can stay cooler for longer. For those heatwave days, we put it in the fridge for a bit to boost its cooling effects and it has all worked out great. Our kids complain less during the heatwaves and get a better nights sleep because of them. Also, its great that these can be easily wiped downed to clean, and are thick enough that I dont think it will be easy to puncture or damage.

Delivered ahead of likely time. Bought as a essential necessity for hot weather sleeping at night,bit can be put to use in various purposes like seating on,not to mention traveling requirement course it has disbenefit gel inside moves around,cools long enough at night. As for longevity the get breaks down inside which is inevitable the performance may a nothing lasts forever. Beneficial generally up to a point.
