My son suffers from Ulcerative Colitis and needs help in conjunction with his probiotic when his symptoms change. He has this medication on standby or when he feels he’s a bit loose. This has been advised by his doctor in conjunction with his other medication.

Put this in the bathroom cabinet as one day you'll be glad you did.The active part of this is no different to the big brand ones and so it works just as well.

Do what they say, can't ask for more. Same ingredients as branded medication, does the same job. Bought more for 'just incase moments!

It does what it says on the package, it stops diarrhoea fine. However I am deeply concerned by the lack of warning of physical dependency and addiction. If taken for more than a few days your body will eventually NEED this drug to not have diarrhoea, you’ll keep coming back and buying packet after packet because the other option is a long and uncomfortable withdrawal.I’m going to be honest here and tell you that the withdrawal from loperamide (the active drug inside this product) was worse than from my prescribed opioid pain medication.

Great if you accidentally eat too much artificial sweetener or whatever. They work fairly quickly but obviously not as fast acting as dissolving tablets.
