Saw a video on utube where a similar looking product made lovely puffy chapattis. Well, this does not! It does however make tortillas well, flat and fairly easy to make. I tried to pre-cook chapattis in this and then try cooking them on a heated pan on the cooker, but the flattening in this contraption stops them from puffing up! So a waste of money for what I was looking for - an easy way to roll out and cook fluffy chapattis. When I get over my disappointment, I may try making naans in it, but I think it is unlikely any product will come out soft (even after adding oils or fats)...

We can't make a roti on it

Product itself is decently built. Works fine as well though one needs to get used to it. Its been couple of weeks since I bought and I was able to prepare soft Roties ( Indian flat bread) only once. I would say this product needs to be priced somewhere between 35 and 45 EUR .http://myrotimaker.blogspot.ie/ helped me a lot in the process of preparing good roties.

the heat is not adjustable -that is the only down side to it. it will take practice to get used to the heat . would have expected a heat adjustment comes as standard option for that price just below £50

This item is great my sister has one i used if when i went yo see her ,so i bought one for my self.

It came with a broken plastic covering that goes over the hinge. It is not functional, so not bothered to send it back and wait for replacement as I need it now. Worst yet the broken piece was separately packed, so obviously the seller knew about the defect. Pathetic!
