Great Practical Item.
I read all the reviews, more for interesting reading, simply because I knew what was coming, but seemingly some don't. Quality, weight, stitching, feel factor, can't fault it. It is what it says on the tin, a military style blanket! Those of us of a certain age who can remember waking up as a child with ice on the inside of the window, an outside toilet, before duvets and standard central heating, remember mum buying these because they were cheap and in stock by outlets that sold them Still warm as toast in the mornings. They do their job. I bought this for practical outdoor camping use. Perfect.

Good quality.
This is a great product, and value for money. The blankets are of a really good quality. They're thick enough, long enough AND wide enough (often you get one or the other). They're also warm enough.Don't be put off by the label that claims 'dry clean only', and don't be afraid to get them muddy during use, the dark practical colours hid this a bit when in use, they wash beautifully in a washing machine, and tumble dry well. They come out of the tumble drier a little fluffy and thicker, which I quite like.I was also impressed at how quickly my blankets arrived - I've bought 3 now and have always received great, prompt service from the seller.

An unbelievable bargain
I've read every single review for this item. Many complain of a chemical like smell that it has and when I first received it, it did smell a bit but after one week it was completely gone. Many complain that it's rough feeling but it's a 25.00 Army blanket, what did you expect? I love this blanket, it keeps me warm and was such a bargain. If you wanted something soft and smooth you should have bought a 100% New Zealand lamb's wool blanket which start at 150.00 up towards 600.00. Champagne tastes with a beer budget.

Easy to care for
Ok so I’ve just taken delivery of my new blanket and yes as others have said it’s a bit smelly, not overpowering but a bit smelly, it states on the wash label “dry clean only”, forgot that, I’ve just washed it in the washing machine using Aldi’s non bio washing gel on the “delicate” wash cycle at 40 degrees with an extra spin of 1300 rpm and it’s come out fine, smells nice and feels a lot softer than when it went in, hope this helps any potential buyers.

Ridiculous
Honestly I did make a mistake by not reading properly, I thought this was 100% wool which is what I was looking for, especially for winter months, but I saw it was only 55% wool and the rest is made up of whatever rubbish, regardless, I tried using it, took about 45 minutes to start to get warm, it's so thin and I wouldn't use to cover me, I'd be better off with an emergency blanket. I couldn't be asked to return it though so I've decided to use it as a ground sheet inside of my tent with the footprint underneath as it can at least be used for insulating the ground, other than that it's absolute trash, the people who give it such high ratings surely use it a different way. Or their own thermo regulation is through the roof, I tested indoors and outdoors, even indoors while sitting on my heated blanket it took ages to warm, I sat out in the soft rain too, to see if it would be of any good in an emergency, no Bueno. Save some extra cash and get 100% wool the price you pay for this...add a few quid and you're set for quality

warm but heavier than it looks
I'm happy with the thickness and heaviness of this blanket although I expected it to be lighter than what it is. But my main problem about it is that is a industrial kind of smell mixed with the woolly smell and I want to get rid of it, also it's very dusty, I don't know the exact word for it when the wool has so much fluff and after the washing it gets better, I can't live with it in this situation, because I'm also allergic to extreme fiber dusts, I need to wash it and see what happens but the instructions says dry cleaning only, and now I can't decide on what to do.
