Q: Has anyone used these inside the house? Mine sure gets hot.

They get hot to touch. Meant for outdoors

Q: Is it okay to use these outdoors without the greenhouse?

You could use them however the lights themselves have a very low PPFD output and need to be 6 to 10 inches from the canopy. I upgraded all of the bulbs to FEIT PAR 40s because they so not provide enough light. The FEIT bulbs I have are not waterproof so I put waterproof tape around the mode switch to protect it from water intrusion.

Q: What is the wattage? The tag on the string states 1200w. The manual states 150w. Plz. clarify.

Instructions indicate each bulb is 25 watts & do not exceed 1400 watts.
