Value 4 Money Freezer Blocks Cools & Keeps Food Fresh 6 pack

We bough these to take in our cool bag to picnics, but also to help with keeping food cool for a house party. They are fab! Great size and they can keep things cool for quite a while...However, now that the picnic season is nearly over we have found a very different use for them. This is for all the other parents out there - one night I made lasagne and my two children were desperate to eat it! But it was too hot! This is ALWAYS the case, and I'm not sure why there isn't a food cooler on the market (entrepreneurs everywhere, here's a business idea for you!). So I've put one of these under their plates, and I kept mixing the food... and it cooled down a lot quicker! Now everytime the food is hot they ask for an ice pack, and it works. Bear in mind to check the food has cooled evenly before feeding your child!

Bought these with the B prime large 20 items cool bag. The six of them kept the cool bag cool for 13 hours and beyond on a hot summers day. Very happy I finally got my picnic bag organised. Really good value for 6 pack

Needed extra freezer blocks quickly when fridge died!The six blocks arrived the next day (with Prime) and, along with a couple of other larger freezer blocks in a cool box, tided us over until the new fridge came a couple of days later. Then there is standing time for fridges to settle...We kept half the blocks in the freezer and half in the box and changed them over 2 or three times a day.They are a neat size for lunch boxes, being so slim.The material seems quite thin but did the job for us.At just over £1.30 each I have no complaints.

So you get 6 ice packs and I have these at work to keep drinks cool. I can honestly say they are painful to hold when carrying them from the freezer as they are that cold. Stay cold for the whole working day (8 hours)

Purchased 2 packs to take in cool box when fishing. When the parcel arrived the inside of the bag/box was soaking wet. Out of the 6 ice blocks, unfortunately one was leaking. It appears that the seam (which is melted closed) wasn't adequately pressed together in the correct place, and subsequently, the water in the ice block ended up in the bottom of the bag/box. I am very surprised that this wasn't noticed prior to dispatch. On contacting Amazon, the customer services chap was fantastic. His actions satisfied the predicament. The product itself looks as if it will do the job it was designed to do. Having said that - the plastic is thinner than many ice blocks on the market, but for the cost - you get what you pay for. 3 out of 5 for product, but 5 out of 5 for Amazon customer services.

Why pay more. These were a very good price, and seem to do the job asked of them, they keep my cool-bag cold for hours. Also came in useful when I got a new freezer to cold-store the food while the new freezer settled and got down to temperature.

A surprisingly nice, compact size, albeit smaller than I expected (my fault for not reading the description), but they turned out to be a perfect compliment to the larger freezer bag blocks I bought from Amazon. Would buy again for the price.

Haven’t had any issues with them at all but also got the slimmer ones as well for comparison and unfortunately I prefer the slimmer ones but that’s prob more of a personal preference than a slant on these. They certainly work and keep things very cool for a long time but they just take up a bit more space than the slimmer ones and I found that made a difference. Will still use them again and don’t regret purchase but they just too bulky for me
