I purchased for my son & for travel, but I started using them daily because it's less volume & dries fast which means I'm using less energy & soap = eco friendly.

have not had to use so can't say to absorbency but fit great in backpack and the light weight was great

I used these on a camping trip. Very light weight. Dried my body after the hot spring. I was happy with the size of the larger towel. I didn’t even use the smaller one yet. The towel mostly dried overnight in the cooler weather.
