Samsung Odyssey G3 LS24DG300EUXXU 24 Not to be confused with the other older and various sizes.
At the time of writing, I had a solid 8-hour go-over on the monitor and all the various settings to achieve a picture that suited my eyes. In both gaming and casual browsing of the internet including watching Youtube videos and some that were on my PC.It seems that this model is somewhat different than the few online reviews of it, perhaps it is a region thing or they have released a newer version of the monitor. Most of the reviews in this section seem to be from older versions of this or different-sized versions of this. The model I have is the 24-inch 180mhz Samsung Odyssey G3 LS24DG300EUXXUProsFor the price, this is a solid monitor with features that rival some of the more expensive monitors on the market.1 ms response time180 MHzHDR 10Vsnyc.The monitor's base allows for full adjustment even height adjustment with an effortless slide up and down movement that stays in place. The control scheme of the monitor is easy compared to some of the other monitors I have used or even the more expensive monitor I currently own. It has a joystick and a great menu that allows easy access to all the monitor's settings. The screen itself is really nice. I am comparing it side by side to my more expensive IPS (older) Asus monitor. It looks great!! I did have to spend some time adjusting the colour and setting Windows 11 to use HDR along with setting it in the monitor menu. Just bear in mind when changing to HDR in Windows it is a good idea to restart the PC before proceeding to adjust colour levels and such.CONSIf you're an aspiring professional gamer this monitor may not be for you. Some complain of ghosting and I can't say that I noticed any of that during my game tryout. What I can say my other monitor is only 60hz and 5ms response time I was gaming away just fine on that. This is a big step up with a high refresh rate and a 1ms response time.Professional graphic designers this monitor is not for you. For everybody else graphics can be designed using this monitor, you may need to have some other monitor to compare colours with as I found this to be a little all over the place straight out of the box. Saying that with some tweaking in the settings, I was able to obtain very close to my other calibrated monitor. On the Samsung product page they did have a good review where the only flaw was it was a little bit harder to change colour than their previous monitor. Samsung replied by thanking them for the good review and stated they would be glad to have one of their experts guide him on the best way to do it. I like that measure of support. The package does not include an HDMI cable, however it does come with a Display Port cable. On the product page it claims to have both an HDMI and a Display Port cable. Not really a con for me as I did not need the HDMI and was quite happy to the the DP cable. There is no sound with this monitor. I am only including this in the Con section as people should know there are no speakers with the monitor.I have always found that cheaper monitors that include sound would have been better putting in other display features rather than that. Numerous monitors in this price point that have speakers sound are beyond bad. Most are barely audible and produce a tiny tangy sound and it is so much better to have external speakers with them anyway. To this day I cannot figure out why this is but I have come to accept that and I don't look for monitors based on sound but on picture quality and build quality.ConclusionI love this monitor at the current price point, it has great features. Some of those features I was not expecting such as HDR, and included Display Port cable. I bought this monitor based on a review of an earlier iteration of the monitor that did not have HDR and the included cable was HDMI. (It may have been a regional thing. Sometimes companies sell the same product with different specs to different regional markets)

very clean crispy imaging
Works extremely well, the 240Hz is very smooth, and the virtual custom crosshair is very useful, and the response time and brightness are outstanding, worth the price

High quality and great price!
The Monitor is a god send after using standard office monitors for the longest time. It's HDR enabled, has settings for 60, 120 and 180 hertz which makes a massive difference and had a few additional features for ease of use. Although £150 may not seem like cheap for what you get this is totally worth the money. It works great and I've seen the performance ok both a PC running on ultra settings and a Ps5 with HDR on. Highly recommend for people who want to upgrade to a solid gaming monitor.

Good monitor, 2 years strong. NO speakers!
Bought this monitor back in 2023. Great monitor, had no big issues at all with it. Nice and bright and you can play with the settings (brightness, contrast, sharpness, colour, black level). Easy to put the stand on, can be raised and turned also. Now for the bad, NO SPEAKERS! None at all even though it has volume controls (I guess for the headphones) and design looks like it does (picture 1, has at both sides) so make sure you already have some or buy some. Has a headphone slot. The actual front screen sits about 20cm from the wall because the stand is kinda thick, also the legs about 6cm infront of the monitor, so make sure your desk can fit it!

Great FPS gaming monitor!
If you are into competive gaming like me this monitor is brilliant. Great brightness and refreshing rate give a great edge and feel in competitive gaming.Easy to setup and use, had no issues and has massively upgraded my setup. You would require a good PC to utilise the refresh rate in most games so bare that in mind!

Unsuitable for intended and advertised use - Not for gaming
While this monitor looks nice and has a decent still image, it's completely unusable for any game that has a high level of screen clutter, such as any game with foliage. The ghosting and motion issues render the monitor completely useless in any game that has a certain level of screen clutter, any game along those lines that has a slight amount of PVP involved you best just accept death. I tested this monitor on multiple games and while on some it looked great, others it was completely unusable. Playing games such as DayZ, Tarkov or any singleplayer RPG game with good graphics is impossible with this monitor as the ghosting on foliage and shadows makes the game look completely warped and just plain bad. Do not buy if you play anything that isn't stylised graphics, for example Borderlands, as this monitor cannot keep up with the changing pixels in the slightest. On arrival, you can combat these issues in non-intensive games ever so slightly by messing with the settings but anything that requires more than console-level compute resources, this monitor will drive you insane. Do not buy if you play anything competitive or intensive in the slightest, I just sent it back and ordered a Zowie.
