Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Blu-Ray + NEW DVD 2017

This is a fun movie with lots of action and endearing characters. I saw it in the theater and knew I wanted in my library so I can see it again and again.

All sequels run the risk of comparison doom. Usually this is because a first movie that is successful enough to warrant a sequel was so good it is tough to match in both originality and surprise context.GOTG 2 falls into this category. It's a fun story and filled with terrific F/X, but it doesn't quite match up to the surprising enjoyment of the first movie.That said - there's a whole lot to like in this film. There are some character developments that are predictable and others that are surprising. My initial impression of the portrayal of Ego was somewhat meh (though I do love seeing Kurt Russell back in action), but ultimately, the characterization turned out perfect to the canon in the comics, so that left me well pleased.Other characters, not so much. I am still puzzled by the Drax power-down and the further "need" to develop him in this movie left me disinterested. On the other end, the introduction of Mantis (sans martial arts), was welcome, even if she came off a bit ditzy. In the comics she is more inscrutable than daffy, but we'll see how she develops cinematically.I don't care to go into plot in reviews, I feel it spoils it for those who haven't seen the show. I'll just close with basic review necessities: the copy of the film I received was exactly as described, in perfect condition, works great in America and was shipped swiftly.Finally, the movie is a good flick, the soundtrack again is (as advertised) awesome and the tease for the future...well, I'll let you get there yourself.

Though I loved galaxy 2 (music, action, and the comedy) I liked volume 1 the best. But I am pleased with 2 and am looking forward to Galaxy 3.

Love the movie. Had to buy it. Great sound and picture quality.

Great movie to see if you loved the first one. The music is good. I personally liked the music in the first movie more. Baby Grut is so much fun! Good story line that links with the first movie and hints of more to come. Make sure you pay attention to the other Marvel hints. We will watch this over and over again.

Over priced. Returned, only got less thasn a third of the 29.95 that I pa yes for it.
