I work in a VERY dusty environment and these filters are very effective while not being too heavy or restrictive. I will wear one for 4-8 hours at a time so fatigue is an issue with other larger and heavier masks.

I have a lung disease and for quite some time it’s been a struggle to do yard work or other dusty type house cleaning. I went out on a limb and bought these. I put one on to do yard work. I felt it was a bit hard to breathe, kind of suffocating. But I ignored it and pressed on. I live in the desert. I used a hula hoe, clouds and clouds of dirt surrounded me, and this mask kept me 100% safe. I was no longer noticing “how hard it was to breathe) because I could breathe so clearly once the dust flew. I was actually able to do half the yard instead of patches and heave for air. I’m a fan and I’ll buy these always. So grateful someone was able to put good thought into its creation.

We have several different chicken coops, and this requires regular cleanup. My husband swears by this exact model, and we trust the brand and protection that it provides. Overall, the fit and comfort works and he states the smell is minimized while on poop patrol. Also, the adjustable elastic bands on the side make it so that he can have it fit snuggly without being too tight or too loose, providing the protection that is needed. Buying in bulk for a better price is the way to go if you have various projects that you need to protect your lungs from breathing in.

I had to clean up after a rodent problem and I use these during the cleanup process. They worked great. I couldn’t smell anything so I knew that they were working really well because the area stunk. They fit well and it’s easy to breathe.

Airflow,fit and good quality

Just as we hoped, we were able to wear these for hours relatively comfortably and with ease of breathing.

These are not a replacement or a substitute for a fully featured respirator. But if this is all you can get, it's the next best thing for keeping particulates (in plain English: dirt) out of your lungs. They seal well so that contaminated air does not get past the filter. Air draws easily through the filter material; I don't have to gasp for air. I can breathe normally all the way until the mask becomes unusable. The exhalation port is the best (and my favorite) feature. It eliminates the heat and moisture build-up inside the mask, making it much more comfortable to wear for extended periods than the solid cloth or filter paper masks. I'm not in love with the two strap over the head elastic band system that holds the mask in place, but it does keep the mask firmly in position. it does filter very well. After a few uses, or use in very dusty/dirty conditions, I can see the particles all over the outside of the mask. It even filters pollen. I have allergies and there have been times when mowing the lawn induced an attack. I run inside the garage, put on the mask, and within fifteen minutes of resting, the attack disappears and I can work outside using the mask for the rest of the day in complete comfort. These masks are also durable and, depending on condition, be used multiple times. These are an inexpensive way to protect yourself.
