Marti Michell Log Cabin Ruler, 1-Inch to 2-Inch

I sought these rulers out. I had to check three places before I found them at Amazon.. The company themselves were out.. Only ruler to use for beginners to expert. Measurement is spot on and keeps mistakes to a minimal.

Purchased to replace one I broke.

Purchased for wife and she's very happy. Working on her first log cabin lap quilt for our granddaughter. She said it was so much better then using a quilting ruler.

The ruler itself is very helpful in cutting pieces of fabric for a log cabin quilt. With only the marks you need it is clear and easy to use. There is less strain on my eyes when trying to find the correct size. However, mine came with no paper backing and was in a cardboard box that was bigger than the ruler. The back of the ruler now has scratches on it from rubbing against the bottom cardboard flaps during shipping. I am still going to use it but wish the ruler had had a paper backing.

I am very excited to use this ruler to make an offset log cabin quilt. Measurements are included for two different size strips and using the measurements I will be able to precut all the strips I need for multiple. Blocks.

Great ruler and a must have for making log cabin quilts. You can make two sizes of strips and the guides make cutting the strips easy. A must have for any quilter doing log cabin squares.
