First thing to call out that I think is important and I was aware of at time of purchase is that the lift top only comes up about 6". If you are tall (6' or so) then it is likely the lift top will not be at a comfortable height for extended use of mouse/keyboard without an additional raised surface on the lift top. I wanted it for short usage during meetings or other periods where a mouse/keyboard isn't in use, but if you want a standing desk make sure you measure appropriately to ensure it will be a comfortable height for your usage.The quality of the materials was surprisingly good based on my experience with other furniture items with similar components in a similar price range. While the wood is a veneer over a cheaper core (not shocking at all for the price), it feels to be a reasonably thick veneer which looks good and the other core material is only visible during construction. The metal frame is solid and did not have any warping or deformities to prevent it from coming together squarely and evenly.Construction was pretty straightforward and I was able to do it by myself in an hour or two. I am reasonably handy, but I don't think you need to be to put this together. If you are concerned about needing two people, for me the parts that I would have most appreciated having another person was just due to having to hold a part, feed a screw, and thread a nut at the same time. Annoying by yourself, but far from impossible. No other parts were what I would consider heavy (though for a small woman that may not be true) or large enough to warrant two people.My only complaint given the price point would be the drawer mechanism as it is not on a sliding rail. It is a cutout in the wood fed directly onto a metal bar of the frame so it isn't a smooth pull out, but it is not difficult or uneven to use either. A very minor issue for me, but if you use the drawers of your desk a lot it may be something to consider.

This desk looks nice but we could only fit one drawer in and it is so tight it cannot be opened so it is really like a deep shelf. Luckily we don't need drawers as much as surface area

Absolutely love this desk! It was super easy to put together. Use the stand up a lot, it's about an inch shorter than it needs to be for my height but it's manageable. The only unfortunate thing is that the drawer handles are sharp and if you're not careful you'll scrap the crap out of your knees. I've done it several times already. Other than getting different handles it's a great buy.

I sincerely love this desk, it is beautiful and sturdy. It looks really nice and I’m able to put so many things on it. The instructions were decent, a little bit hard to decipher sides, but process of elimination helped and was able to put it together in about an hour. Truly recommend this desk!

Drawers do not fit and customer service wasn’t much help. Their resolution was to stretch the bars. The rising desk portion is only held together by 2 screws. Very low quality.

Really sturdy, really pretty, I will say the only thing that I can knock against it is the standing height could be a inch or two taller, but that is subjective and we are all different sizes. I’m right at 6’. Still able to use it standing up.

Desk was easy to put together. Watched my boyfriend do it with no troubles. Everything was labeled and there.Used different hardware to add a little *me*Spilled nail polish remover and it and NOTHING is ruined.
