My flag is mounted to the house at the front door. The pole sits at about a 45 degree angle. The breeze pattern there causes the flag to constantly wrap around the pole. I purchased this ring set because it has smooth, low-friction bearings. It's easy to install and comes with convenient clips to attach the flag. It's easy to position the bearings on the pole and tighten them with the provided hex wrench. At first, I thought my flag still had a wrapping problem. A certain breeze pattern would cause the flag to fold in half on top of the pole. I thought I would have to add weights to the flag. But the next breeze would poke the flag a bit. Because the bearings have so little resistance, the flag falls over the other end of the pole and un-wraps. Any odd behaviors I experience are only caused by my crazy wind pattern and not because of the product. If I ever noticed the flag was wrapped, I come back 5 minutes later and it's un-wrapped. It is well designed and a good value.

These went on easily and rotate easily so your flag doesn’t bind up. Work great!

These are made of quality aluminum. They’re not the cheap plastic ones that only spin freely for maybe a month. Just by looking at these you can see the quality of the material & of the top quality of the machining. All this quality for a VERY reasonable price! I expected them to be expensive compared to the plastic ones. I’m surprised at the price. Something like this I would’ve expected the price to be no less than $30. They’re selling them for LESS than $20 ! I’ve bought (3) sets of them & they do the job that they’re supposed to do. Unlike the plastic ones.

I've only had these Flagpole Ring Set with Bearings for a few weeks and they are working great, the flag hasen't wrapped around the pole yet. They fit my 1 inch pole really well. As far as durability, time will tell. I will be greasing the bearings with bearing grease (not WD40, or other spray oils) to see if that extends the life. Some mentioned they seize up after some time.

The media could not be loaded.  With our flags constantly wrapping around the flagpoles, we needed these rings! And after a long time of use, they’re still working perfectly today! Best invention for keeping our flags flying in the wind without getting wrapped up on the poles! The only problem we had after a lot of rainy weather, was a little rust forming at the bottom ring- preventing the ring to spin well, but with a little WD 40, and problem solved! Been working perfectly since!

I've had several different rings for my flagpole and none of them work as they should all the time. I was constantly having to unwrap my flag from the flagpole. It was very aggravating. But no more! These flagpole rings with bearings are different -- they work as they should all of the time! They are a little more expensive but so much better and worth the cost.

I've purchased many different models of these and this is the only one that actually works. I highly recommend it. I haven't had it long enough to comment on rust. Hopefully if that happens some WD-40 will fix it.

My previous (different model & name) lasted almost three years until one of the rings fell apart.Hope for the best with this one. Spins well around the flagpole so far.
