Very light and sticks well, did a very brief knock test and it definitely lessened the sound. Very easy to pull off the covering to stick it.

It's very stiff and it seems like it might do the job but it's not sticky at all and it comes up very easily and I don't like it I'm having to glue it down

I have a 1967 VW Beetle I am restoring and I installed this sound deadener all under the carpet and under the seats, installed all behind the door panels to quiet the road noise coming from the doors, installed all on the inside firewall. Pretty much everywhere. It made driving this old car completely quiet inside now. It used to have a lot of road noise and squeaks coming from everywhere as old cars tend to have. But this stuff has made it really quiet Inside the vehicle. And also acts as insulation and keeps my car warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Highly recommend for anyone restoring a car.

I recently used this mat to soundproof my car and it was easy to install and made a noticeable difference in reducing road noise. The self-adhesive backing made it simple to apply and the foam effectively deadened sound. The mat also provides heat insulation. The mat is thick, durable and has a good thickness.The only downside is that the mat is not very flexible, which made it a bit difficult to work with in tight spaces.

This sound deadening material went on very easily and adhered really well. I used Windex to clean the surfaces before I applied this to make sure it was as clean and de-greased as possible. I really liked how well it contoured to all the surfaces it was applied over. It definitely helped improve the comfort of riding in our van in making things a bit quieter.

Falls off instantly. Surface was clean and dry and no adhesion at all. Comes right up. Really disappointing. Big waste of money

I have used a lot of different sound deadeners on Amazon and for this price point this one is only ok. The adhesive material on the back isn't the best and the foam material in between the reflective sheeting seems lower quality and seems likely that it will degrade more quickly than other brands I have used. Have to cut the the whole roll piece by piece which is a bit inconvenient.
