This is definitely not durable not sturdy and nothing that's going to last. I buy cat scratchers very frequently and I've had cat scratchers last 6 months this one has been scratched by my cat twice and it's already falling apart and she's a goofball she doesn't know how to scratch. I would not get this again not worth the money for your spoiled kids. In the picture the one next to it is over 6 months old and gets destroyed by three cats regularly. The one on the left is not going to last a month

The photo of a cat laying on one was and is misleading. I was surprised at how small they were and didn't have much curve like the picture. I guess you get what you pay for they didn't last long they didn't use them much so that says how cheaply made they are but my cats love the catnip.

My would not stop clawing the furniture. I put one of these scratcher pads at each problem area and the cats scratch the pad not the furniture. The cats even sleep on them. I will definitely purchase more.
