Well written, and very useful because it showed me what I needed to know for the exam. I live abroad so I was not in the mainstream, so I was very worried about not knowing exactly what I needed to know for this exam. Instead this book told me all I needed to know and was very useful

The strength in this book lies in the section 2 science bit, as it gives you a list of points to revise for. However having sat the BMAT I would say that the level of detail in the book, especially with some of the physics and in biology the kidneys is a bit too advanced for the BMAT. That's not to say the BMAT isn't hard- it is very tricky- but I think this book makes you stress out about learning "extra" science rather than consolidating what you already know. So if you use it and see a bit that seems particularly tricky, and isn't covered at GCSE, then ignore it.

Good book, I got into medschool and didn't attend any courses etc, just this book and a few GCSE bitesize and that was it.
