As a first-time puppy owner, I had no idea how many "firsts" a puppy had to experience and how much stress and anxiety these milestones could induce. Everything from vet appointments, to long car rides, to meeting new people, my puppy struggled every time something new was introduced and he became anxious. Upon purchasing the Puppy Micro, I found it much easier to calm my puppy BEFORE his nerves got the best of him. The Puppy Micro begins with calm, soothing tracks to be played during nap time, gentle grooming sessions, etc. so the puppy associates a sense of well being with the music. Gradually I added in more stressful situations like training, crate training, meeting new people and new dogs and going to the vet, while playing the same calming tracks. I was so amazed to see my puppy handled those anxiety-provoking situations with a sense of peace. The Puppy Micro also helped my puppy with common sounds he would hear and negatively react to, such as, outside noises (lawnmowers, leaf blowers, car horns, car alarms, etc.) and inside noises (the vacuum cleaner, kitchen appliances, cell phones, TVs, etc.). Slowly incorporating those sounds into the classical music pieces, showed my puppy that these sounds were normal. He became used to them, rather than afraid of them. The Puppy Micro has had a calming effect on my entire household and I have found joy in raising my puppy.

We were a little worried that Mika wouldn't be getting the kind of stimulation and exposure that a new puppy needs during this covid lockdown, so we found this music. The idea of setting muted house sound effects to calming music is really brilliant, and it seems to be working for her! Time will tell if she spooks less than our previous dogs, but right now the music easily puts her to sleep and the sounds don't disturb her. Brilliant!

The breeder was using this for the puppies and I bought it wanting to keep the calmness for our new puppy. An added benefit is that it has also helped add calmness for our two older dogs as well!

This is so cute. Definately keeps my puppy soothed and curious at the same time ... he still reacts to some of the sounds after 4 weeks of listening to this. He is 12 weeks old now.
