"Alexa, turn led strip light on" - OK "Alexa, turn led strip light to blue" - OK "Alexa, turn led strip light to 25%" - OKAnd mine works in an area where my cell phone barely gets a Wi-Fi signal. Couldn't be happier! The video is before I unrolled it, when I was initially setting it up. I took it downstairs, unrolled it, plugged it into a new outlet, and it was still connected to Alexa.

I purchased this after another brand went missing on Amazon that I had already purchased for another portion of my home. I can say after having them up over a week, I'm a little disappointed. I've listed some pros and cons below to help others that may be interested in this light strip.Pros:1. Alexa and Google Assistant compatible.2. WiFi connection came fast through their app and setup was a breeze.3. Cheap. Under $23 is how these should be priced, not $90.4. No additional hardware required. No smart home hubs needed.5. The connection from the LED strip to the controller gives a satisfying SNAP into place and it holds firm.6. The strip is more flexible than expected. Very easy to work with.7. This light strip puts off very good light and more than a competing product I own.Cons:1. WiFi only works on a 2.4 GHz network...common to these types of devices.2. The Tuya Smart Life app is just plain junk. If it weren't for Alexa and Google Assistant control, I'd have returned this because of the app alone.3. NO IFTTT CONTROL. There is a misconception that IFTTT is available to this LED strip. That is not accurate. IFTTT does work with the Tuya Smart Life app, but not all devices that connect through it. The app seems to be a simple gateway for cheap equipment like this. If you let Tuya handle the app, you can save money not developing your own and just focus on producing the product.4. The adhesive seems good, until half the strip falls down without warning. I installed this on a powder-coated metal frame with a flat surface. There should be no reason the adhesive gave up in less than a week. I'll be using my own two-sided tape to get the job done.5. This thing will often ignore orders from Alexa and require me to ask lights to turn on multiple times before they will.6. Oddity occurred today. When asking Alexa to turn the LED strip to a specific color, the whole LED strip turned off. Very odd behavior that will hopefully not continue.While the price of this LED strip is appealing, there are better alternatives out there.

This is an extremely bright strip of colorful LEDs! Its Wi-Fi controller is cheaply made and hard to set up, but if you read the instructions for pairing -- which involves turning an unmarked switch on and off for ten seconds -- you can make them work.I was able to get through all that and pair the LED strip with Amazon Echo, and that's where this set really shines. It functions just like any other LED strip I've used, and can get so bright it will hurt your eyes. Even when I tell Echo to dim them to 1%, they're still brighter than other LED strips are at 30%.This device works, but I'm not entirely impressed with its obviously bare-bones build quality. It's also a disappointment that you get a mere 6 feet of lighting, but for your $29.99 you do get Wi-Fi connectivity, albeit only at 2.4GHz. It barely gets the Wi-Fi connectivity done, but the lights are bright, you can control it with an iPhone and it's good, but not great.

My first purchase came with a light bulb that looked open and used so I contacted Amazon to get a return to get the right order. I eventually did and it works great! I've had a lot of light strips.Pro:- VERY bright!- As I said, it works very well with Google Home, which is very important to me.- The adhesive on it is actually very good.- I use the Tuya app on Android to control it and it's awesome.Cons:- Can't really think of any.

Great lightstrip!!Had to try twice to set it up, my phone wouldn’t find the Bluetooth connection so connected over WiFi. Probably was more of a user error, and not so much of the unit.Every color under the sun, along with a wide range of brightness to darkness. Timer setting has also proved to be really handy.Also - fantastic app, loads fast, doesn’t crash (which is a huge pet peeve of mine regarding some of these 3rd party apps).Will be ordering several of these lights!!

Very bright. Works well with Alexa except that it can not be set to white. When you ask ask for white the strip appears as if it is off. Works well to set many colors and brightness levels with the Tuya app. Holds a WiFi connection well. Backing tape sticks very well. When I added my own lead to a strip in order to use in two pieces with a splitter, I had to switch the green and blue wires to get the proper colors. An overall good value over buying the parts separately. I put two one meter strips in two one meter aluminum LED channels and used a splitter to run them from one controller. I used them as under shelf lighting. Was disappointed that I can only use a simple timer and cannot create any scenes or automation of my own.

I bought these to add some dramatic lighting behind my TV and because they work with Alexa without any hub requirement. Setup was easy. I added a new "lighting device" and it quickly discovered these as LED strip lights. (They fit perfectly down the sides and top of a 50 in HDTV.) I can set them to any color or theme within the app and I can tell Alexa to change colors and/or dim/brighten them. Excellent quality and easy setup = 5 stars. Highly recommended.

I really want to like this product but the quality doesn’t seem to be good. The connecting point is weak often causing the lights to disconnect, and adhesive is straight garbage. I placed it once on a clean flat surface and the next day it had completely fallen down. I like the idea but wouldn’t buy these again.
