It took me forever to figure out where these little moth like bugs were coming from. They would always reappear after i vacuumed them up, until i took this bean bag cushion outside and put it in a plastic bag as an experiment. I never found another bug inside. They were coming from this cushion! So gross. Im really disappointed because i liked the round cushion, it was comfortable to meditate on but there’s no way i can bring it back inside with this bug infestation. I think they laid eggs inside the bean filling. I hate to throw it away since its $100 down the drain but i have no choice :( beware!

I purchased a Bean setup with oval cushion years ago, probably 2016 or so. The quality of the Zabuton was EXTREMELY different, night and day from what it is now. The cushion was sooooooo much thicker and full compared to this thin little padding they put in it now. Why do companies downgrade their product instead of upgrade their product? Seriously, makes no sense. You had such a nicely padded and comfortable product, and then come out with something that my big ass will probably flatten in no time. I wish I never gave my original bean product to my friend, really sucks.

I love the zafu and zabuton set. Maybe it was the humidity where I live but tiny bugs started coming out of the zafu's buckwheat hulls after a few months of use - some kind of really tiny barklice or booklice would crawl out between stitchings on the zafu seams. I did some research online that indicated that bugs (like tiny booklice) getting attracted to organic (i.e. not chemically treated) buckwheat hulls. I consulted some online suggestions by emptying out the hulls and baked them in an oven at 120degC to kill the bugs, then washed the cushion covering (following the washing instruction on the label) in cold water. Seemed to have worked and stopped the infestation for the time being. Keeping my fingers crossed and staying vigilant.

I was looking forward to these cushions, but their quality mirrors their more affordable price. The zabuton is advertised as having recycled cotton filling, but really it is the cheapest raw cotton filling available, full of plant debris and dirt (photo attached). The inner cushion is stitched all around, so I had to cut a little slit to look inside and void the return policy for the sake of science. I've been sewing for thirty years and am grossed out by this fiber material, ironically from a company that touts the quality and variety of fillers they use. The zafu does not have a lining layer, so the zipper opens directly into the buckwheat hulls, and to wash it will require pouring out the hulls and later restuffing.

The orange fabric they used on this is soooo bright. I'd consider it neon orange. It reminded me of my dad's deer hunting clothes. If you live in the north and know any hunters you understand what I mean. It would not be a peaceful thing to be reminded of when sitting down to meditate.I returned the item and then ordered the yellow cushion and blue mat directly from the store's website instead. I am pleased with the comfort of the set, being a daily meditator. I also love the colors I did end up with.Quite displeased that I did not get a full refund for the Neon Orange set. They charged a 'restocking fee.' Who even charges restocking fees anymore? What exactly is that? The item was in the original condition when I returned it, even in the plastic wrap it came in. I literally took it out, said 'no way' and repacked it up and sent back the next day. So very annoyed with the fake charges. It is quite sad too, because the product itself is so awesome.

I am 5'7, 230 lbs, woman, and I chose the extra large version, glad I did, it fits me just perfectly. It is very soft, yet very sturdy. I don't even think of the hard tile floor beneath me when I meditate. The bean bag pillow is also sturdy, yet very comfortable. I use mine behind my back against a wall to keep my back straight. It's perfect.

I ordered the oval 14"x18" XL Zafu + Zabuton Set with their round yoga bolster and it was perfect for my yoga nidra practice. For reference, I am 5'2". I placed the zafu next to the zabuton long ways and the bolster on the other side and it was extremely comfortable with my head on the zafu, torso on zabuton and bolster under knees. If you are taller you could probably place the bolster a couple of inches away from the zabuton and it would probably still be very comfortable as long as your torso is still supported by the zabuton. I also saw on the packing slip that Bean Products, Inc. is a small business in Chicago, IL, which make me feel good that I am supporting a local small business.

The product was well packed in two thick clear plastic bags. The box 📦 came horrible tough, but there were no damages to the product.The color is exactly like the picture🎨. The Zafu is very comfortable and the well sized. The cushion was soft and comfortable for my knees. I was impressed with the material. It seems quite durable and small enough to tuck away in a corner. The colour is vibrant. Great overall.

The product had some solvent smell to it that dissipated after awhile
