Good product.
I like the overall design and effectiveness. One thing to watch out for, continually check to make sure whatever you are chopping, grating, is flowing out. I was grating cheese and did not do this. I ended up having A LOT of cheese caught up in the internal workings of the grater. Not easy to get out and it came out in clumps. Otherwise, grates chesse well and saves your knuckles.

Works great, except it does not hold steady on the counter.
I really would like to give this 5 stars as I like it that much. It is, for the most part, probably the best grater I've used. It's easy to assemble, cuts very well, and is easy to clean. What else could you ask for? How about having it stick securely to the counter top too? The first time I used it, everything worked exceptionally well. Each successive time, however, the suction has failed and the unit wobbles or falls over when in use. Using two hands, one to crank and one to hold the unit in place while pressing on the feed chute, is the only way to stabilize it.

Adorable but not heavy-duty
I got this slicer after a standard mandoline slicer stole the tip of my finger. I had used that mandolin slicer for years! It was so easy to use, to clean, to make my vegetables sliced and pretty. Plus, it made me feel like a pro in the kitchen. Except when it sliced off the tip of my finger.I miss the tip of my finger. And the doctor told me she gets a mandolin slicer injury about once a week, including professional chefs, which really made me feel good. Not for their pain, but for my kitchen ego. But due to the risk, I decided I needed to find an alternative to the flat and dangerous slicer. If you are looking for a simple, small, and very cute slicer, this may be for you. And it's much safer!! But I found it lacking when it came to slicing cabbage, my fav veg to slice. It made some of it kinda runny, and I had to cut the cabbage into very small chunks just to get it into the vegetable holder, which is not spacious. Turns out the old-fashioned method (knife on a cutting board) is faster and yields a better slaw. The construction is simple and pretty easy to use, and it's fun to display, unlike a lot of clunkier appliances. And I still have the tips of my other fingers, so really, it's your call.

I saw this on a cooking video, SouthernFrugalMomma. I love it, so far I have used it on carrots, potatoes, cheese and almonds. Easy to assemble, easy to use and cleanup is a breeze! Great product! Thanks Brooke for sharing in your video!

This broke the second time I used it. The blade pieces are good but the crank and body are trash

Not Impressed
I seen Brooke use this on Southern Frugal Mama and I wanted one too. It works like a dream on a block of cheese. Did horrible with green pepper, onion, and carrots. It ended up mashing them to a pulp. I’ll keep it as a cheese grinder but altogether not impressed.

Not worth it.
It's not a grater, slicer or whatever you may call it. It's more like a scrubber for vegetables.I found it more useful peeling unboiled potatoes!!!!
