Young Forever: THE SUNDAY TIMES BESTSELLER - reverse disease, ease pain and renew energy : Hyman, Dr Mark: desertcart.co.uk: Books Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Young Forever – A Helpful Guide to Better Daily Health - I’m approaching my 40s, and every year it feels a bit more challenging to stay fit, healthy, and full of energy -especially with two kids, which definitely drains a lot of power. Recently I decided to take my health more seriously, and I came across this book after seeing it recommended on a health channel on YouTube. This book helped me understand the basics of nutrition, calorie intake, and food choices in a simple, practical way. It made it much easier to walk through a supermarket and clearly see which foods support my energy and well-being, and which ones tend to drain it. There’s also another great book from the same author focused specifically on cooking—I believe it’s called How Not to Die Cookbook. I own that one as well, and it’s an excellent companion to this book. Overall, Young Forever has been a very helpful guide in improving my daily habits and understanding how to support my long-term health. Review: Value for money - A good read and some good tips, I certainly learnt something.

Great first book about bio hacking
I’ve been listening podcasts about health like A. Huberman and etc. so there was nothing new in this book. I would recommend his other book ‘WTF I should eat’ .

Mixed.
A useful summary of what you can do to improve your chances of living to an old age. There are quite a few of these books out now, so a degree of duplication is expected. Factors that make this book different from similar ones, include: * Contains some of the more experimental/cutting edge research ideas * Eat some meat * Take multivitamins Part 3 of the book is about selling me the author’s “The Young Forever Program”. I had expected him to sell me some vitamin tablets too (he doesn’t, at last not directly). In some ways, I’m not so certain the author is a good model for health… He’s had various medical problems and injuries for 20-30 years, but now he’s super healthy, expecting to live to 120+, he’s full of enthusiasm, but it can be a bit grating at times. A few of the more interesting quote in the book, I’ve seen recently, in a book called Unaging. I suspect the author read it too, and some of its content may have come into this book. The author repeats statements too often. I think I read “93% of Americans are unhealthy…” around 5 times. Additionally, at times the book is too wordy.

OPEN EYE BOOK!!!
Wow, just wow! This book completely changed my perspective on food and nutrition. If you're looking to gain a deeper understanding of your body and how to eat in a way that truly nourishes you, I 100% recommend giving this book a read. Dr. Hayman is an absolute life guru when it comes to health and wellness. His insights and knowledge are simply mind-blowing. From the moment I started reading, I couldn't put it down. The way he explains complex concepts in a simple and relatable manner is truly commendable. After implementing some of the principles from this book, I can already feel positive changes in my body and overall well-being. It's not just another diet fad; it's a sustainable and practical approach to eating that will stay with you for life. The best part is that Dr. Hayman doesn't enforce strict rules or deprivation. Instead, he empowers you to make informed choices and understand the impact of your food choices on your health. In summary, if you want to take control of your health and embark on a journey towards better eating habits, this book is an absolute must-read. Thank you, Dr. Hayman, for sharing your wisdom with the world!

Common Science and Practicality on a Great Book!
I am enjoying this book. We have several of Dr Mark Hyman’s other books. This one talks about the current state of health and the steps of longevity. Mark Hyman is an experienced scientist and seasoned writer. He speaks from experience and is full of practical advice and it’s easy to understand! A clear, well-thought-out approach to managing your health. And the format is well-structured and presented. Thanks for giving us the structure to live longer.

Brilliant. A Must Read for Everyone
A totally different way to treat disease. The sooner traditional medicine switches to Functional Medicine, the sooner it will change health for the better. Dr Hyman is a genius & anyone who understands medicine will truly appreciate this fantastic book. Food should be thought of as a set of instructions to the body. UPFs give bad instructions to the body & bad things will happen to you. Dr Hyman does recommend some high quality supplements & that’s because of the lack of nutrients in our diet from the destruction of soil by humans.
