As beautiful as this spindle is
As beautiful as this spindle is, I won't be able to use it without a great deal of work. It's not sanded completely smooth and has a number of rough spots that will catch and pull on the fiber as it's spun and wound onto the spindle. One of the roughest spots is the notch in the side of the spindle which will pull fibers lose from the yarn each time I wind more onto the spindle. It's also unfinished, which I was not expecting from the description and pictures of the spindle.Overall, I'm displeased with my purchase.
