We checked the FCC DTV maps prior to purchasing this antenna and the website showed two stations with strong signal for our address (PBS and FOX), and many more stations with weaker signal strengths. After setting up the antenna we could only get FOX, and that was sporadic at best. We tried every position and orientation possible within the limits of the cable and could not improve either the channel quality or quantity. Extremely disappointed as we spent more for this antenna than other options which cost less based on the high ratings.Update: The company was quick to contact me to attempt to fix the issue. After troubleshooting, the antenna still did not work at my home, so they issued me a refund. Updated to three stars because of fast and helpful customer service.

Not a huge number of available channels in the remote area in which I live but anything that saves me a few dollars from the outlandish and ever increasing cost of cable is worth it. Picture and sound are clear and come in great on the channels I receive.

I had another brand that worked well but was misplaced when I moved. I replaced it with this because it was less expensive and got great reviews. I only moved a mile away, but with this antenna I only get a fraction of the channels I got with the other one, and the reception is fractured and choppy at times. To be fair, though, there is no way to be sure, without doing a side by side comparison under the same conditions, if it is because of the antenna or some other factor, such as trees, in the area.

Good antenna, however I can only receive 2 channels which are local..so thats fine ..I understand that it depends on ur location for getting good signals..I did move the antenna to different locations for stronger signals

I return it as it was no worse, but no better than other leaf type antennas I have tried. I could see no difference between its amplified signal and my unamplified leaf knockoff's signal. It wasn't bad but to receive even all the major stations, I had to move it around the room. The picture was crystal clear when I would get the antenna in the right place. I am about 25 miles from most stations, though, so if you are closer this may work for you. I finally opted for an attic antenna which works fine.

I have a 35 mile non amplified antenna and was hoping the 50 mile amplified would give me a better picture. The 35 mile gives me a lot of pixelation with digital broadcasts. Unfortunately, the 50 mile amplified did not resolve the pixelation issues. Now I probably can't fault the antenna completely as most stations are north of my location and I have the antenna located on a southern window. I was hoping the amplified version would have resolved the issue.

This antenna works better than any I have bought so far. ALL of my news channels finally come in crystal clear with no pixelated breakthroughs. Some of the other random channels that come through are not perfect (it is only an antenna after all) but dang, they come in pretty dang well! Happy!

Does not perform as well as the other antenna I purchased. Multiple scanning only provided just a few channels clearly no matter where it was placed. I live within 30 miles of stations in large metro area. My Mohu Leaf is awesome. Both are used in adjoining rooms close to windows on the top floor so I do not have any outside obstructions. Should have stuck with the Mohu Leaf.
