Other than being disappointed with the price for the size of the bag this stuff has made my orchid one happy plant even though I didn't get a bloom this year that is my fault as I cut the old stem down too far and put the plant into shock so hoping with the new soil and fertilizer I also purchased, next year I will get a stem again and maybe a bloom or two. I had never changed the potting soil on my orchid of 4 years and decided this year I needed to do that so ordered this brand and was surprised how small the bag was when it arrived. Thank goodness my pot is small or this wouldn't have been enough to plant a bigger pot. I would say max it would plant would be maybe a 8 inch pot.

It’s great that it comes with a varied medium and also the moss. I transplanted my orchid into a larger pot. This worked out really well.

Should’ve bought a larger potting mix for my orchid. Otherwise no complaints.

Product is very easy to use. Still hoping my orchid survives the repotting.

Going to use it but not what is advertised. Bark and pebbles are there but no perlite and just a pinch of moss.. See pic. It should work though.

I am very disappointed to receive a bag full of mulch with about 6 clay pieces and 2 incredibly tiny pieces of moss. I wouldn’t waste your money. I ordered this because I thought it would look like the picture and now I have to go spend even more money to make my own mix.

Looking for just the right soil supplement.

I took a chance on this brand since my usual chunky mixture was unavailable. It has a nice combination of ingredients, but I can only give it two stars for the ingredient mix with the small clump of sphagnum moss which is in the top of the bag. It’s easy to break up and mix in. My terracotta and plastic orchid pots all have holes which are great for the orchids but NOT for this blend. It’s very small pieces of orchid bark, and perlite fall through the holes. Touch the pot, water the pot, inspect under the leaves and you’ll loose the mixture out of the holes in the pot. Use the O-FarFarm Store photo, shown with the dime, to understand how small the pieces are. For me, I’d rather not pay for a mixture that gradually falls out the pot so I returned most of my order.
