Pretty useless. It says not to take it off until after the pot has been removed from heat for a few minutes, so you can't take it off while cooking because it gets really really hot.

Works very well. Just don't use the ships smoke stack as a handle like I did while in use.

I quit using paper towels to cover my bowls in the microwave. This little gem fits every size bowl, and it rinses clean. The steam does go out the top, but you still have to be careful removing it from the bowl so that you don't get a steam burn.I love that this lid lets me cover my food so i no longer have to clean up spill over accidents on the stove. This steam lid is constructed from heavy duty silicone. Constructed from 100% food safe, pure virgin silicone.The lid measures 10.8 X 10 inches. Very easy to clean and most times just needs to be wiped down.My only complaint is I wish it was a slight bit stiffer, as it can be a challenge to get it to sit correctly on the larger pots.A 5 star review was not promised to the supplier in exchange for the discount but I stated that I would provide a review that would be fair and honest.

This thing is so silly and cute! I love it and so does my teenager. She immediately had to use it and take the pics to social media. The S.S.Pasta is what she calls it. Not only is it absolutely adorable, it really works. I love how the steam comes out of the smokestacks on the ship. It s great for pasta, and steaming veggies. I love that it is quieter than the glass lids that we did use. It is super easy to clean. The only downside for me was trying to grab it off the pot with the small handle. Once you get that down, you will too be in love. I received this product at a free or reduced rate in exchange for my unbiased opinion on the product.

I think it is a great product, however, it was too short for my 10 inch pan. This is my fault, I didn't realize that a 10 inch lid will not cover a 10 inch pan but just fall to the bottom of it!Otherwise the design is very accurate (corresponds to the picture) and the quality seems very good although not tested.

I just love to have kitchenware that beside the function give some fun to the cooking

The Steam Silicone Steamer Lid worked very well for my needs I would buy it again.
