Anchovies in Olive Oil Review: The best anchovies unless you buy them fresh - Both the packaging (glass jar) and the content are terrific. The glass jar is a more visally appealing option than the usual can, and it allows you to reseal the content after use - a lot less messy than doing the same with a can. The fish itself is a real fillet, no bones, which is not the case of most canned products. Both flavor and the fact that they are truly deboned make them great for salads. They are somewhat expensive but ultimately worth it. Review: seals were broken - do not purchase seals were broken oil all over everything however this brand is by far best you might find

Good texture and taste
My husband uses these in his martini's. I ordered the 3 pack of Agostino Recca Anchovies Fillets in Olive Oil 3 times for him to use in his martini's. The first two orders of anchovies were great. The last order I placed for him, he was very disappointed in them. He said they were all mushy and fell apart when trying to get them out of the jar. It is likely he will not use them again.

Nice pure anchovy flavor & texture
Celebrity chef on TV said use jarred anchovies instead of canned. I've always used canned, but husband thinks all celebrity chefs "know best" - so tried these. Yum! Turns out husband was right, at least about anchovies.

Glass vases not completely sealed
This is the second time I bought these fantastic anchovies. Unfortunately this time two of the three vases leaked all the oil because the covers did not have a tight seal. Vendor should be notified of the issue so he can implement corrective action.

Jars Leaked and Product Spoiled
Terrible shipping and bottle/cap design. Jars arrived almost empty of their oil and anchovies spoiled. I tried had to leave that day on business and by the time I returned a week later, was told that it was no longer eligible for return. What a waste of $25.00. Don't buy this product!

Delicioso!
I had purchased other brands and decided to give these a try. I am so glad I did- Beautifully cut fillets, with just the right amount of saltiness. I have used them in several recipes, including fettuccine with garlic and anchovies, and the results have been excellent. A++
