These are a lot heavier than I had anticipated. Very sturdy and I couldn’t believe the price, better than any local stores had to offer! They are plenty long enough while stilling having easy control over them. Time will tell as far as how long they will last, but I am cautiously optimistic

I have a medium size firepit that would always singe off my knuckle hairs. The longer reach with these tools stops that and prevent the burning hair smell.The teeth on the tongs are a nice touch for easy gripping and the point on the firepoker is very sharp.Not as robust as wrought iron but still sturdy enough to last.

I was tired of trying to use a short fire poker to rotate/adjust large logs in my fireplace. I am 100% pleased and satisfied with these fireplace tongs! Not only were these vastly more affordable than others, but they are sturdy and work well. When I received them, I thought the 40" length would be too way too long for my indoor fireplace, but if you have a nice and HOT fire blazing away this extra length makes adjusting the logs much more comfortable. I still recommend wearing leather gloves for the heat radiating from a hot fire.I've used them for a whole season, and they aren't loose, bent or wobbly. I expect many more years of use from them. I highly recommend for your fire tending needs!

gekauft zur Verwendung meiner Feuerschale mit 80 cm Durchmesser. Dickere Holzstücke mit entsprechendem Gewicht sind schlecht anzuheben aufgrund der Zangenlänge. Ebenfalls biegt sich dabei die Zange durch. Ich habe mir jetzt eine Aluminiumzange bestellt mit 60 cm Länge die vermutlich besser geeignet ist und auch ein deutlich geringeres Eigengewicht hat.
