This is a great idea for anyone who needs a place for their stuff. My husband is always looking for his keys wallet something all the time so got this for him with the hopes it will help. It looks beautiful on the night stand. Well made, great price point. Easy to put together. Great size and enough area to put it all and then some. Now for him to just get into the habit of putting everything on it and he won’t have to ask those questions ever again. It is sturdy and looks like it will hold up for a long time. Would recommend and would buy one for a gift or for my son.

... it's not as good as it could be. Or should be.It is very functional, looks good and assembly was very easy.I just wish it was made with a heavier and more durable wood. But it is made with a light weight and soft wood, (balsa?) albeit nicely stained. This choice of material gives it two problems:As a soft wood, it can easily be gouged during assembly (or later during use). Luckily, I noticed this right away so I was careful when I assembled it, and when I placed it on my nightstand.The second problem is that because the station is of such a light weight, it easily slides around when you put items on or take them off. So I've found that it's a two handed operation; one hand to steady the station and the other to actually put items on or take them off. I'm thinking of putting some small rubber feet on the bottom to help mitigate this problem.Luckily, I got this when it was at half price; if I had bought it at full price I would have given it a much lower rating and might have even returned it as I don't feel that it was a good value at that full price solely because of the wood it was made with, which is a pity because the overall design is good and if made with a heavier (furniture grade) wood it would not have the problems it has and could be an excellent docking station.
