Very nice to ride in!
I usually wear flare leg jodphurs for saddleseat but recently took up dressage, so this is the first pair of breeches I've tried, along with half chaps. I was amazed at how easy these made it to communicate to the horse through my seat- my half-halts have never been so effective! The grippy surface is incredibly grippy, I have trouble even shifting around on my synthetic leather car seats. The phone pocket is fantastic and fits my Google Pixel 6 comfortably, but I think that's at the upper end of the size of phone that will fit. The elastic at the ankles holds very tightly against your skin- not so much that it hurts, but they hardly pulled up at all during my hour long ride. I think these are on the heavier side of elastic material. They will be great for fall and winter riding but I bet they would be quite hot in the summer. I fell right in the middle of the size small measurements and they fit me perfectly.

Tall rider approved!
These are really great breeches! According to their size chart my measurements were right between sizes M and L, I went with the size Large and am glad I did so would recommend sizing up if you’re between sizes. For ref I am 5’10” tall and weigh 150. I was thrilled when I put these on and they were long enough for me! The fabric is quality and the grip panel is definitely grippy. I like that there are side pockets that you can slide your phone in and they are snug so it won’t bounce around. The waist is quite high but they have enough stretch that it is still comfortable. Hope that info is helpful, if you’re looking for a well made, comfortable and affordable pair of breeches I highly recommend you get a pair of these!

comfortable, grippy, bit long
these are very comfortable, nice quality riding pants. They look very nice, got several compliments on them. they fit well all around save for being a little long on my 5'2" frame, but I just pull them up a little. Not a major issue and certainly not a deal-breaker. They grip very strongly (but not too much) and the pockets are convenient and tight so no fears of losing anything. Very pleased
